I didn't say they are over, I said, never be afraid again and speak up! and his pay was $240k in 2022, dropped to $180K in 2023 and I anticipate after this year depending on who is elected that drops to $0 unless a value can be shown to the membership. It would appear he worked himself out a "golden parachute" and this election highlighted it.

That said, it certainly seems like the Rinaldi fans (Jim, Alex, Trish, etc.) line up behind NDJH pretty well now doesn't it, but you already know that.

Except any member of the NEB can make a motion to fire him and they don’t. Nick did make a motion to extend the contract and to limit PPL though so he does know how to do them

Rich deserves criticism for the current state of the Union. Not saying that, just saying it appears the majority of 114s teamed up with NDJH and are now panicking that Santa will win after the endorsements from JD and MR.

Santa needs more turnout from regular controllers but they are too busy working 6 days a week and the rattler to remember to vote

It’s not about remembering to vote. People choose not to vote. Not much could make it easier… it’s not like you have to go purchase stamps. These 60ish% of people remember to bid leave when it’s their turn to bid…. It’s a matter of importance. They don’t care or don’t think it’s important, it’s that simple.

My interest is vested because of Reinstatement (and the amount I contributed as having previously maxed the PAC) , but I like to consider myself an informed individual.

Rich and Jamaal is what I’m leaning towards too. I hate both of them but for me…Rich seems to want to listen to the members (finally) and Jamaal … well…yeah maybe he can work well with rich. Mick is not it either. He’s basically as clueless as Nick but hides it better because he’s under Rich’s wing. If you listened to the last town hall where Mick got the chance to talk he just literally blabbered about nothing repeating the same points rich made. You can literally hear it in his voice he was dying for rich to take over.

Unfortunately with JD and Redmond out the best path forward to me is Mick/Santa. That’s with me strongly disliking all candidates at this point. I worry about the NEB being gridlocked with Jamaal in there parroting what his boy Nick is saying.

It's worth noting that JD did not endorse Mick - he only endorsed Rich.
