Justin Dailey for NATCA President

No stonewalling. Everyone i have interacted with has been great. After all, everyone should want to hear from anyone running as the ultimate goal of everyone involved is to move the union forward.

As for the West, I was trying to get out there, but it’s not looking great. I’m heading to ZNY and N90 the week after next since it’s drivable and then some more northeast stuff as I can do those in a day, but between the time I have available, flight costs and overtime I am unsure if it will pan out to get out west.

I have a flight held for June 1st with points but will most likely get assigned overtime (which both pays for the trip or kills it), so no promises, until the schedule gets published. I miss that area though, I worked at ZDV for 4 years. I imagine many people are upset, and rightly so as I still talk to a few people there.
You planning on campaigning or sending out more mass emails bro? Nobody at my facility knows who you are

Justin Dailey has endorsed Rich Santa for the runoff: Justin Dailey for NATCA President

“Thank you all

I want to thank everyone who voted for me, reached out, emailed, or spoke to me during my run. I appreciated hearing all of your stories and learning about your issues. Remember, anyone can run and make a difference. Even if you don’t win, you can make your voice heard.

From the beginning, I have believed this is one of the most important elections in NATCA’s history. That said now that I am out, I am endorsing Rich Santa for NATCA President.

Over the course of this election, I have gotten to know Rich through various phone calls and texts, a joint facility visit, and a breakfast at Denny’s (whose staffing is worse than our own).

While we have different opinions on many issues, we agree on two of the most important ones: the necessity to open the contract when we are able and improving financial responsibility in our union moving forward.

I will vote for Rich in the runoff and encourage anyone who supported me to do the same.“

Turns out the smart people who spend time around NDJH realize their bullshit and no way would want them in charge. This is a person like us, who works traffic every day, who’s seen our struggles, who’s spoken to everyone and knows the person to get us there now is rich. Thank you Justin for lighting a fire back in this union and putting the good ole boys club on notice

He endorsed Rich Santa, but he did not endorse Mick Devine.

I miss 2am Whataburger.
I typically try to never "yuck" somebody's "yum", especially when it comes to regional food preferences. But I gave multiple Whataburger locations multiple chances because of the demands of my Southern academy friends and I feel 100% comfortable stating: Whataburger is complete trash.

The crown belongs to In N Out, without a doubt; and as a Midwesterner it breaks my heart a little knowing someplace so perfect is so very far away.

I have to agree about the whataburger. Tried numerous times and was never impressed. As a regional chain I love Zips in the northwest. That was my go to growing up and unfortunately I’m too far away now. In n out might be in second place though for fast food burgers. Killer burger in the Portland area was great but I don’t consider them fast food as much as a sit down place.

Whattaburger vs in-n-out is really apples to oranges. In n out is better taste wise but you need to order a lot to be full while whattaburger will have you full for a couple days. Both serve a purpose. Idk what whattaburgers prices have done lately but in n out is still reasonable and this is in California where fast food workers make 20 bucks an hour. I would still take whatta burger over Burger King/ Carl’s Jr/jack in the box.

We are merely the product of our geographical differences I suspect, for me some of the fondest moments of secondary school were driving up to the corner before class grabbing a burger or burrito.

Just go get yourself some Culvers.

I can absolutely respect preferences that are rooted in core memories. Being from the Detroit area I will defend proper Detroit style deep dish (not the Little Caesar's knockoff trash) till I die because of childhood memories and teenage employment days.

Culvers is great, but I lump it into the same category as Shake Shack & Five Guys: top-tier but 20% more expensive than what it should be. Wife and I went to Vegas in June and we both got double-double meals at In N Out for $20 (burger, fries, and drink only), that same kind of meal is about $30 at those top-tier places.
