The great part is we only get 30-35 minute breaks and a 45 lunch lol. We will get put on TRACON data for 5 minutes so we don’t get too long of a spool…I like breaks

Most days lol. We started with 30s, and then 35s, and now 45s. Which I know is crazy to complain about when some people barely get 20 minute breaks. I would just think having good staffing would give us decent breaks, nope.You get a 45 minute lunch?!? We’ve been on strict 30s for years

That’s exactly what’ll happen. Talk about how great of an achievement the CRWG numbers are - the agency is already doing max hiring so it won’t help that at all. It will only lock down/minimize transfers. Then just give a bonus to the old guys they want a little more time out of. Most of us just have to keep plugging away on weekends and holidays while we watch our salary slowly get eaten away by inflation. Look at all the great things our union has done for us.Maybe new release policy will factor in amount of trainees in the pipeline and if they expect to certify or not. If they just froze transfers while also only giving a pay raise to the retire eligible controllers then how can NATCA not expect the members to revolt or be incredibly divided?
Gotta make sure they indoctrinate all the folks at convention first so they can come back to the facilities and tell you that you’re just too stupid to understand and should just get involved more if you don’t like itDoes anybody have the MOU? Theyve always counted towards projected staffing.... there is a formula that takes into account your success rate, and throws in a few people retiring/dying/losing medical etcIf the rules aren't out yet is it too late to submit a package? I saw on Reddit someone said trainees now count as expected certs? My fac has a bunch of em but if they count now we'd be over 85%
