Same. Mine said she "couldn't say" but was somewhat personable and made me feel like everything was alright. Maybe im retarded thoughNot really.
Yeah my lady was just real nice and gave me the impression she had no reason to not recommend me. Which means im probably fucked lolOnly the flight surgeon can make that determination, not the psychologist or whoever you see. They just make a recommendation.
Yeah mine was the same. Very nice lady, helpful and didn’t make me feel like I needed to worry about anything.Yeah my lady was just real nice and gave me the impression she had no reason to not recommend me. Which means im probably fucked lol
Varies. Really just depends how long the Tier 2 people take to evaluate your case and sign off on it as well as wait for the flight surgeon to sign off on your entire medical. You'll probably have to do another drug test since they're only good for 6 months so you gotta wait for that to clear too. I'm OTS but from looking in the experienced thread, you'll be put into a queue for the next list drop as soon as you get your clearances. I'd reach out to your HR as soon as you know you're fully cleared so you can get an estimate of a start date/facility list date. What is the usual timeline from Tier 2 appointment to list drop?
I would assume Jan-FebWhat is the timeline post-Tier 2 psych eval?
Had my psych appointment on October 23rd. She confirmed that DC received my file about 2 weeks ago.
Obviously holidays are coming, just wanted to get an idea of when I should expect to receive (fingers crossed) my final clearance from the FS?
I'm from the 2017 OTS bid. That has to be a good sign right.....that I haven't been DQ'd ?
I received this when I asked a similar question to HopeI received my email notification that I was being processed and a provider was being found for me on 9/23/21. I still have not received any word from Hope or a provider. Is this a problem?
Thanks, that’s good insight into the process. I emailed hope asking her the same question. I’m just a month past the 45 day mark so Im worried that I’m lost in the confusion.I received this when I asked a similar question to Hope
This may be a stupid question, but does every applicant who is designated Tier 2 automatically get a psych eval? Or do you have to get approved/recommended to even do the psych eval in the first place?Only the flight surgeon can make that determination, not the psychologist or whoever you see. They just make a recommendation.
You get an eval, it's just a matter of how long it takes. Depends on where you live and however many types of forensic psychs are available and what their case load is like. Also gotta take into consideration when your case was referred to the Tier 2 team and how many cases are ahead of yours. This may be a stupid question, but does every applicant who is designated Tier 2 automatically get a psych eval? I had my eval back on october 23rd.You get an eval, it's just a matter of how long it takes. Yeah so the psych makes their report and recommendation and sends it to whoever your Tier 2 POC is and then they forward it to the Chief Psychologist in DC where they evaluate the report and pretty much give their recommendation (or denial). If DC denies it, then you're out but there's way to appeal. After all that and you get recommended , I believe the flight surgeon still has to sign off but if your evaluator and the DC team think you're suitable, I'm sure you'll get signed off. After all that, then it's just another drug testI had my eval back on october 23rd.
Basically what I'm asking is, could you only get DQ'd at the end by the flight surgeon or are people recommending your case forward through each step of the process?
I received my TOL all the way back in 2017 so I'm getting my hopes up again lol. Was in the Tier 2 process waiting for a psych appt for close 2 years before i finally got one.
