CPC-IT currently at a 12 TRACON, coming from a 6 up down. Looking at withdrawing from training, just over my head at a 12. Have certified on a few positions so far. Does anyone have any current info on how lists look for cpc-it withdrawals? Are they hard and fast with only offering 5 facilities?

If they terminate you they will give you a big list of facilities including your last facility if it is below 100% staffing projected. The day you withdraw or get terminated, that is the day the staffing number locked for last facility

No, they stopped posting it when they noticed most of the names on it were obvious DEI hires and married couples.

Typically a week after the panel starts you’ll find out what you’re eligible for, then about 2 weeks after that should get the list. Then allegedly 2-6 weeks to receive your offer letter for the placed facility. These are all estimated wait times

Anyone know what BIS as a retention option means? We have someone who was notified he’s being retained, for either a Tower-Only at a certain level or below, Flight Service, or BIS. Highly doubt that means Bismarck ND.

Awaiting any kind of list of facilities to choose from.

Fortunately for them they are being retained. There are plenty of 4’s they could go to and get checked out no problem then move on from there

I think only if the person posts it. They are typically tailored individually unless someone is being offered same level and types of facilities
