Explain how you or anyone in this thread backed me into a corner? The only other person to say it has been more vocally pro gun than you.
I'm really really enjoying how he liked my post, not only because he went on to complain about me saying it while also posting a pro gun meme, but also that the staunch obviously biased republican liked my pro gun meme that was a quote from Karl Marx ??????????

So if Biden is really like +12 he could get over 400 electors
Breh if you are still buying polls I got bad news for ya. I think 2016 proved that's bad to lean on. I begrudgingly hope Biden wins, but it's not going to be a runaway victory, it's probably gonna be contested either way, and decided in the courts, yet again because Republicans can't win fair elections.

the polls were within the margin last time. They have also been refined since 2016. Trump isn’t running against the swamp anymore. He is the swamp.

trumo pulling ads in battleground states.

Texas added 300,000 voters in the last 2 weeks. Midnight is near.

The other dude who is pro-gun just said he’s tired of the gun conversation. Cmon man.

He's voting for Biden, so I would question his description as "pro-gun." Note how I said "some" people too.

When people make claims and don't reply to arguments (often sourced) refuting those claims, they're backed in a corner and would rather slip through the wall and ignore the refutation than engage in debate. It's kind of funny to watch.

Someone more pro-gun than me? That's laughable. Nothing against Nhstadt though (besides the Biden vote), we were in RTF together back in the day.

You weren't "some people," clearly, and you didn't see my post refuting my label as a Republican a page or so back...? Sigh.

I mean....okay that's all good and everything but you'll have to forgive my lack of faith in the pollsters who got it so utterly wrong last time, coupled with the dude who has said he has to wait and see if he'll accept the outcomes of the election with the Supreme Court majority and executive branch and senate full of lackeys.

I'm not a single issue voter. It's important to me for sure, but so are a great many other things. I hate having to vote for Biden, trust me, but he's definitely the "less bad" option to me, and all the other bullshit is every bit, if not more concerning to me than some Biden platform stuff that will more than likely never go through.

Edit-I think I know who you are.... I had you pegged wrong, my bad my man. I kinda know what you are about and it's not bad.

And for everyone else, no I'm probably not more pro gun than him lol.

How did they refine the polls? Genuinely curious
They ask about education this time. And your education level makes your response weighed different. Cus they missed the poorly educated last time. I’ve dine 5 or 6 polls this time and they all asked this question.

I just can't depend on the last few words in your post. The left's unabashed courting of anti-gun organizations like Everytown, and worse, March For Our Lives, has put them in a position where these rabid organizations will come for blood if they don't push their insane agendas. Banning online sale of ammunition isn't just a Biden platform insanity, it made its way into the Democratic Party Platform this year, showing that it won't go away no matter what happens in November. I'm sure it's only a matter of time until adding "assault weapons" and "high capacity" magazines to the NFA completes that journey too. It was a Feinstein insanity almost a decade ago, where we all laughed off how extreme and out of touch it was, but come ten years later, it's the stance of the Democrat frontrunner. Unless Democrats are swiftly shown that this is the wrong path to head on, It's going to be in the party platform sooner rather than later, and that's horrible news for gun owners who so much as have a single 12 round magazine made 50 years ago sitting in an attic somewhere.

I try not to be a single issue voter, but it's hard this year.

Oh trust me I'm with you on most of that, and I do believe if the dems dropped gun control from the platform completely they'd never lose an election, but my country tearing itself to shreds on things as basic as human equality and decency to one another takes precedence, along with a whole host of other issues, including the rest of the bill of rights orange man seems intent on tearing up.

Also see my edit on my last post.

I didn’t make any arguments about what gun control should or shouldn’t be. I made a comment that having gun control policies as part of your campaign isn’t as big of a deal as it has been. I don’t know that he’s ever been questioned about it.

I have my views on guns(not that extreme) but I don’t argue about them on here anymore because there’s no minds to be changed on this site. It’s either SMAWs for everyone or AWB. Not much in between.

I'd vote straight Dem every election if they dropped gun control and went pro-gun. Hell, I'd campaign for them.

You made a comment about public support of gun control that was misleading, and you ignored my response pointing out how misleading it was.

He hasn't been questioned on it, you're right, and for how extreme of a step he's gone from Clinton, I'm surprised it hasn't been called out yet. I think a lot of moderates could change their vote when they find out what his stances are.

I stopped arguing about guns a lot because I've learned that no matter what facts and statistics I come to the table with, emotions can't be changed. This is true for many political things, though.

meh polls in 2016 were spot on. Hillary won the popular vote by exactly what the polls said she would. Unfortunately those several million people lived in the states where their vote doesn’t count.

Yet another big reason I'm not trusting them this time either. The way our electoral system works the polls, or the will of the people for that matter, really don't matter.

Also let's be real here... Anyone "undecided" at this time is voting Trump. To me if you are undecided whether you want to keep someone around 3 weeks before the election after four years of any encumbant, you are either really really not paying attention or you are just embarrassed to say you are voting for Trump.

That’s part of the difference. Biden is above 50% with decided voters. Last time there was a big pool of undecided. This time there isn’t. That’s part of why polls are better this time.

Nothing wrong with being cautious. If trump loses by 12-15 points nationally(some polls have this) he most likely loses Texas, Florida and Ohio. So I don’t think it’s as high as some of these polls have said but even if it’s Biden +8 there’s really not a path to victory for Trump.

I think trump needs it to be around Biden +5 to have a shot.

I wasn’t trying to qualify Biden’s gun control stance vs anything in particular. I was simply saying that people don’t care as much about gun control right now. They aren’t paying attention the nuts and bolts of his plan. Probably a lot of reasons for that but it is what it is.
