Yah but since their expanded unemployment ran out they’d prolly come back. Unless they got other jobs. We’ll see. We can always RPO for each other. It’s been done before. They could also use the AG ppl Waiting for Classes
Idk if a center is easier, but I’ve seen “trained” CPCs running a TSS at an 8 tower that I would not wish on anyone’s training. Not even addressing the fact that they are pass fail.

Ok I actually read the whole thing and I'll just highlight some takeaways:
  • OJT will run at 50% capacity. If there are six sectors in your area, OJT will be allowed on 3 sectors. If your area decides they want to do more than that, it has to be agreed upon my all concerned parties.
  • Training hours will basically restart with a stipulation. If you had 25 hours OJT on a sector that has a training goal of 100 hours, the training goal will be moved to 125 hours. The stipulation is that at I'm not sure if those hours start right away because they mentioned having to be back to your previous competence. I wasn't sure if you get extra spool up time or not, but basically it's up to your trainers to decide whether or not you've reached previous proficiency via your previous training documents.
  • The "red or green" map that was talked about is not mentioned or alluded to at all in the PDF.
  • It didn't sound like your facility needed to come up with a plan, this is the plan. The only thing to really hash out is how many people will be allowed to train at once.
  • Relief briefing to be taken care of by CPC's not trainees.
IMO if we're really at 40% traffic and 50% capacity just train on 2 sectors at once. Win-win

I’m guessing that the current hours on a position are being added to the full target amount is so people don’t have to train up to mins again. That way a LC trainee that passed mins before Covid and was ready, but not certified, will be able to do catch up hours and then get recommended. No need to start over.

You’re confusing two different items. The above posted documents are exclusive to running OJT. Allegedly there are more documents coming as it pertains to the return of people into the building. The two do not go hand in hand per-se. that’s why you don’t see mention of the map / staggered return.

Correct.

“Employees on excused absence will resume OJT in accordance with the OJT Recall Plan that is currently being developed. Discussions regarding gating criteria, procedures, and approvals necessary to expand OJT beyond those present at the facility are currently in progress and will be briefed separately once finalized.”

What a dick tease that was.

Yeah. Basically only the ones who were deemed essential would be able to start
