More of the same at the national level. We're waiting on OJT to resume. Leadership keeps getting questions about when training can resume, and they like the enthusiasm of those that want to start training again, but they have to do it safely. It's a collaborative environment, they're having meetings, working some things out, but still have some issues. They're optimistic that they'll have those worked out soon.
They don't want it seen as a notion that they're not getting back to training any time soon, but are working through some issues that are taking longer than expected. "Training sooner rather than later."

My thoughts: also the same from before. With no date or what the specific issues they still have to work out, I don't see training restarting for a while longer.

I bet if they polled everyone in my facility they would all start training with no face shields no problem. I bet EVERYONE opts out of them as well.

Do you think it's a little odd they wouldn't go into specifics about the issues they're trying to resolve or am I looking too far into this?

All sounds like political jargon if you ask me. I agree, if there’s only one or two things holding up the process, then why not just say what those problems are, and what a general timeline is.

I wouldn’t read too much into it. Most of those telcons are designed to be high level. Would last all day if you got into the weeds on every issues.

As someone who used to lead meetings like this in a previous life, essentially it just means we don’t know anything and we are trying to sound smart. My prediction based on what I have heard from local reps and management is still mid to late September for the high D’s or whatever they’re called and then the folks who are D side only come in later. Dunno about tower and their certs but I would assume same timeframe or sooner.
