You really have been drinking the scam koolaid.
You wouldn't blame me after the shit that plays out at my facility. Its scam headquarters over there. Be damned sure after watching all that, that I'm gonna take every shot I'm given.

Sorry you're not getting yours, though.

So, what happens if my county is in the clear for two weeks, and then cases kick back up and it goes to orange or red? Are we back to square one or does training continue? Or is that up to local management?

I wonder if people who went out high risk will have trouble getting their medicals back at all. Most of the things that make you high risk for covid are things that could hurt having a medical in general right?

I don't think anyone is losing their medical though just for being high-risk. Indeed you have to have a condition to begin with that requires special consideration for keeping your medical. Personally I go to a specialist every year who writes out my condition, prognosis, medicines, etc, and as long as the condition is under control and wouldn't unexpectedly cause me to lose the flick or die in the middle of work, I get signed off every time. Realistically, coming down with COVID probably wouldn't kill me, but I'd surmise I'd be more likely to be unable to keep my medical afterwards than someone without my condition.

At a Z, my rep had this to say about the Monday discussion.

"The telcon today specifically said that classroom and lab training is going to be addressed eventually, but they didn't give us a time-line yet."

Interesting, I’m definitely going to need classroom and simulator stuff at my tower when I go back but my FACREP seemed to indicate I’d be called back when it was first possible

Labs are open already. It’s just the criteria for bringing more ppl back

debby downer here..... Has anyone thought of how long the FAA is going to pay high risk people to stay at home before telling them they have to find another job?

My facility has started classroom last month and had most contractor instructors come back but not all.
Live training is not happening until the end of October.
Trying to figure out when/how the new trainees who have never been in the building will be recalled.
We had EA people recalled last month. Some are back on the floor with an over the shoulder, some are back in classroom to spool up.
I don't know if we have any *high risk* still sitting at home.

Is there a document out there somewhere I can see? Or was it in an email from Paul and Trish?
I didn't get any update from my rep at all. The info came from another friend at a different facility whose rep doesn't seem to mind sharing the information that affects all our careers....
It's so irritating that nothing can be disseminated to everyone and has to come from the man behind the curtain. If you're that lucky.
