Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-20-ALLSRCE-65607

Looks like we were cleared around the same timespan. I was fully cleared since 3/22. So i guess i will wont be starting until then unless by some stroke of luck we get called up to an earlier class.
I'm in the same time frame, pending class date since first week of March so I was thinking the same thing.

Does everyone have to go through the security interview process? Read some people have had to do follow up ones, and I have yet to even get an E-mail about a first one lol. Or is this something that happens when something comes up in your background check?

Not everyone has to. You may even get a conditional clearance and then get an interview after you’re at your first facility. Or not at all.

Emailed earlier this week and found out that I am mostly cleared, just waiting for the flight surgeon to give the final okay. Unfortunately that was the same update I received a month ago, hoping the flight surgeon backlog clears quickly.

Congrats! When were you fully cleared?
I found out I was cleared on 1/15, after reaching out to my HR rep. So I'm not sure when I was actually cleared.

The end of the hiring process and the start of a whole new ball of stress! Haha Congrats on the start date! Maybe I'll see you there in June!
Maybe! If all goes according to plan I'll be in Oklahoma 6/23-8/12.

Last Friday the 26th my HR rep called me, gave me a 6/02 terminal, I took it and then about 30 minutes later called me saying someone backed out of a 5/19 terminal, I accepted the 5/19.
I also start virtually on 5/19. Anyone know how long the virtual is taking? I have a friend who did enroute during covid peak and it took 4 months.

Looks like we are in the same class! Someone should start post for that date.

I'm assuming you're terminal based on the FAA catalog? If so the virtual portion is supposed to be 17 days, excluding weekends. I was told the expected date (subject to change) to report to Oklahoma is 6/23.

Yeah, that happened to me. I had my interview after getting conditional clearance and my references were also contacted after the interview.

I was told that FOLs are going out about 30 days before a start date. Can anyone speak to this? I’m want a month off between my job and starting academy but am nervous my start date could get pushed..
