Although I was looking to be able to drink coffee in a tower and watch airplanes take off, I'm happy to have gotten a date. EnRoute 7/20.
They fill class spots in the order that they received CIL requirements. supposedlyShould a phone call be expected for everyone or is that just for people who have been in frequent contact with their HR rep?
congrats, when were you fully cleared?I got enroute 7/28!!
It's not a question of WHERE it is... but WHEN it isWhere is my class date :-/ ?
No laptop at the academySorry if this is not the thread but when it comes to the academy what resources can we use and is it controlled? When I was in navy nuke school we could only use pen and paper (no iPad or computer) and it was controlled so we could not leave the building with it and it had to be locked up.
Honestly, they will probably make you go see a neurologist and it will take a few months. Had something similar years ago when i went through.I finished my CIL packet back in mid-February. I got an e-mail from medical on Tuesday asking for complete medical records from a car accident I was a passenger in 15 years ago where I sustained multiple life threatening injuries along with a traumatic brain injury. I had to call 2 different hospitals and numerous different specialists to obtain the records but everything should be getting sent to them by the end of next week.
Wondering how long this will hold up the process..
+1 You might as well make the appointment now. I had to go back to the doctor I saw when I had a tiny stress fracture in my back in 2014 from a car accident. When I went my Doctor thought it was pretty crazy. No laptop at the academy

It doesn't end during the screening either. I've had to go back to the doctor over the last couple years saying the injury I sustained back in 2014 no longer affects me. I finally got notice this year that the flight surgeon was satisfied after my doctor wrote a letter saying they were wasting my and her time.+1 You might as well make the appointment now. Depends I would assume, I had to submit quite a bit of extra medical records in December and still haven't received medical clearance.I finished my CIL packet back in mid-February.
