Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-21-ATCEXP-71144

I heard from a coworker today that the FAA will not pick you up while on terminal leave. Can anybody speak to the truth of that?
I'm not even on terminal yet. Less than 120 days from DOS but not on terminal. I think that's all they care about.

Edit: Unless you meant that as 120 days from terminal. Then idk. I miss the good old days where your TOL lasted 5 years.

So I submitted my Pre-Employment medical interview sheet and I now have some FAA doctor asking me for records about my asthma and carpal tunnel surgery. I just had the surgery on 4/30 and am still recovering off work. Feel like I may be joining the tier 2 gang unless that’s only for the MMPI...
You can get tier II for medical stuff but as long as you say it doesn’t impede your ability to do job functions it shouldn’t be a big deal. They have waivers for everything just about.

Thank you, that’s reassuring to hear! The records and longer tier 2 timeframe part just makes me nervous I guess. Though I guess I’ve never heard of anyone being medically denied for either of my conditions.

I had a decently extensive record sheet and had to send in quite a bit of stuff to medical, haven't been notified of tier two but its been about 5 months since I submitted everything and all I've heard is that its with the flight surgeon pending review.

Wondering if anyone else is having a similar experience. I got my TOL in what seemed like the first wave, I sent it back and got a confirmation the following Monday that it had been received. I have heard nothing else since, and I'm almost certain I haven't even been given a HR Specialist. I sent them an email to the address that I received my TOL from asking if there were any further steps I needed to take right now. They replied "nothing for you to do at this time" and a HR specialist will reach out to you in a few weeks.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I am currently a contractor for Serco, and I just did my eQip (security clearance renewal) not even a month ago for my current job.

Just glossed right over that. Thanks. Still curious why I haven't been contacted at all when it seems like others are well into the process.
It’s all dependent on your HR rep. I haven’t gotten my EODS yet either (that’s the next step after TOL acceptance). I reached out to my rep and they basically said they’ll get to it when they get to it. You can try emailing yours and hope you get a better response.

Same problems here man. I had my paperwork signed and submitted an hour after the first wave of TOL’s was released. Still no EODS for me. My HR rep said they’re being issued out “as workload permits.”

I’m also in the same boat as you where I recently got hired at an FCT. So my fingerprints, security clearance, and physical are already taken care of I just need to schedule the MMPI and drug screen. Pending my EODS and CIL :|

Has anyone with a CIL gotten contacted about a drug test yet? These folks haven't emailed or called me and it's been almost a week

That’s the same thing I was told maybe we have the same rep. We’re their initials LM? Weird how other people got theirs early last week. Workloads cans be that uneven at HR ?

My reps initials are LM as well. Same issue. Maybe they are on leave.

You can edit you signature by clicking on your picture at the top of the page and selecting signature from the drop down menu, to show dates you received things, I saw this in another forum and its nice to see the dates people received stuff and where they are at in the process..... still waiting on EODS and CIL

Just don’t overthink the MMPI or try to answer with ‘what you think they want you to say.’ Just answer honestly and keep it simple. Most people fail it by trying to be too perfect
