MMPI-2 Tier 2 Process

I was just notified that I’m tier 2 and will require further evaluation due to my MMPI results. I understand this will add some time to my FAA pre-employment which is fine but my worry is how this could affect me maintaining my class II for my current contract tower job. If anyone has any info on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
It won’t effect your class ll medical at all, the medial you get for the FAA is a whole different story in its own. As long as you have nothing on your record that could cause issues your contract tower medical is fine. I was in the same boat as you and my medical was fine for failing the MMPI-2 they did try to take my medical away for contract but that was because I had a bad driving record I appealed and they allowed me to keep it then continue with the MMPI failure process. Just because you failed the MMPI doesn’t mean anything just means they want more information. Trust me your fine and if you got any other questions PM me

Has anybody that was military had issues with getting their records sent to the FAA? Human resources command refuses to send records to anyone, and the FAA won't allow you to send your own records. I've wasted 5 months now just trying to get my records sent to them.

What branch?

Man this process is extremely frustrating. I was told that I have been flagged for possibly having ADD/ADHD and I have a CSR from my doctor saying that I was never diagnosed. I tried adderall in 2013 (one prescription) because I thought it would help with my studies and now they want me to pay upwards of $5k to get a psych evaluation.

How long does it take to get contracted by the psychologist after a doctors been selected and you've turned in the release forms? Been sitting for a couple weeks now.

When were you contacted initially for tier 2? And then when did you received the release form email?

I was told that I was tier 2 on 3/16/2020 and was told that a psychologist was selected on 6/8/2021. I was sent a release form with the June 8th email and sent it back the same day but I haven't heard anything since sending back the release form.

Frustrating isn't the word for it. On top of all the other things I've had to send information for, now they're saying the Federal doctor "diagnosed" me with a disease that requires some fairly extensive and specific testing (more than a general physical), and now no matter how many times I send them information from my life-long doctor stating I don't have it, I keep getting emails back essentially saying "so what are they doing to treat it?"

It's no wonder there's such a backlog.

Thats unreal.

Finally got my email stating that my case has been reviewed and I’m now moving on to scheduling for tier 2 evaluation. I took my MMPI in May of 2020

What state are you from? I’m from Texas and I thought I would’ve been one of the first ones considering I was notified I failed mine in august of 2019 and Texas is 100% opened. I was notified on 26th of May as well saying they’re reviewing tier 2’s again but haven’t heard anything since.

Haha im in the same boat notified august 2019, case was sent to tier II for coordination October 2020. Notified May 2021 that they’re processing and then silence

Trust the process I guess? Notified January 2021 then notified of being sent to coordination in May and BAM! nothing since. And they will not appreciate if you email them for updates; you'll have to wait your turn.
Oh yeah I def don’t plan on emailing them lol I’m waiting for an appointment now too but my lord.
