Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-20-ALLSRCE-65607

Anyone have any insight on the length of the process with the new Covid variant that’s came about? I’ve been offered a job in the interim while I wait for class date but didn’t know what to expect. New company knows about me being in the process. But I am also early in the process, (received EODS yesterday afternoon).
Take the job. Its a long and unpredictable process and you should keep living your life. You may not get your CIL for months. You may get a tier two and be delayed a year plus.

Thank you. Hopefully won’t be that long but I hated to take it and then leave quickly. It’s teaching aviation so maybe it’ll keep my industry knowledge current.

Received CIL 7/22: completed eqip, Fingerprints, MMPI, just waiting on drug test info should have that completed by the end of the week altogether process took two weeks
Still haven't gotten my EODS emails. Given the whole of my experience so far, I am beginning to get anxious.

Anyone wanna beat our impatience with some Dirt Rally or F1 Racing?

edit: Just got in to the Halo Infinite Test, if anyone else got in DM me lol

That's fast, jeez.

Seeing you were on this batch of offers.

Any chance you're pool 1/vet?
OTS from the covid delay so maybe a very small group of us! Medical said I should get my drug test this week once that’s all done it’s just waiting for everything to clear

For anyone through with basics, is it typical to have a bit of a gap between basics end and in person academy start? I am scheduled to end basics 9/2 but I do not start in person classes until 9/13. I am trying to make travel arrangements but want to make sure that I truly have these 11 days off before I do.

I believe they typically do a rolling review until you start at the academy. They don't just give you free paid time off. I haven't been through it though. That's just what I've read on here.

EDIT: Apparently this is out of date information, disregard.

I'm not through yet, but I can tell you for a fact you aren't just "off" work once basics is complete. There will be 4 hours of review on zoom, and 4 hours of "self study" off camera. I do not know if this is every single weekday up until the academy proper, but likely.
