Reapplied but my application did not meet the qualifications. I forgot to attach my college transcript. What happened in 2019? Did you reapply then, or did you wait for 2020?

If you attached your college transcripts, do you think you would have gotten in? Given that you had a BQ, i personally believe it is highly likely.Reapplied but my application did not meet the qualifications. I forgot to attach my college transcript.
If you applied as a pool 1 applicant but don’t qualify, they almost certainly will remove you from consideration once it’s discovered. You would need to reapply in the correct pool for the next bid.If you put yourself into the wrong pool, while applying, does anyone think that could hurt me? I feel that I might have incorrectly labeled myself as pool 1. I got a BQ and I am just concerned this might mess it up!
You would imagine that a government agency has the ability to scan applications some how to see if qualifications add up.If you applied as a pool 1 applicant but don’t qualify, they almost certainly will remove you from consideration once it’s discovered. Nothing is quick/efficient/rational in the HR department. You would imagine that a government agency has the ability to scan applications some how to see if qualifications add up.
I highly doubt they will give out 1,000 TOLs from this bid. Especially because a prior experience bid has been announced (unofficially) for Jan. They're only suppose to hire 1,000 for the fiscal year and the Academy is running at reduced capacity. Thanks, bro! You got BQ too. You killed it.
If my understanding is correct, anyone who passed (i.e., anyone who got a Q, WQ or BQ) is referred to the ATO for employment. Then, the ATO decides which candidates they want to give a TOL to starting with P1 BQ, P2 BQ, P1 WQ, P2 WQ, P1 Q and P2 Q until they choose about 1,000 or so candidates, so those who got lower scores may be out of luck if they fill the 1,000 slots with people who scored BQ and WQ.
That's how I understand it, but don't quote me on it lol.
Dang, now I feel a little defeated. There is always the next OTS bid 🙁I highly doubt they will give out 1,000 TOLs from this bid. Especially because a prior experience bid has been announced (unofficially) for Jan. They're only suppose to hire 1,000 for the fiscal year and the Academy is running at reduced capacity.
With so many people getting BQs and everything else you mentioned, winning a golden ticket to the academy will be like winning the Powerball.I highly doubt they will give out 1,000 TOLs from this bid. Especially because a prior experience bid has been announced (unofficially) for Jan. They're only suppose to hire 1,000 for the fiscal year and the Academy is running at reduced capacity.
Isn’t there something about the number of pool 1 TOLs being equal to pool 2 TOLs? Or am I mistaken? With so many people getting BQs and everything else you mentioned, winning a golden ticket to the academy will be like winning the Powerball.
I’ve heard of this too, but I dunno if they still do it.Isn’t there something about the number of pool 1 TOLs being equal to pool 2 TOLs? Or am I mistaken?
Current hiring code no longer has the 10% ruleI believe the 10% rule was abolished. Ie they could take 55% pool 1 and 45% pool 2... maybe MJ remembers?
After giving preferential consideration to applicants under subparagraph (A), the Administrator shall consider additional applicants for the position of air traffic controller by giving further preferential consideration, within each qualification category based upon pre-employment testing results (including application of veterans’ preference as required under section 40122(g)(2)(B)), to pool 1 applicants described in clause (ii) before pool 2 applicants described in clause (iii).
That was for 2021. We are 2022. The Handbook writes 1,000 new hires for 2022 - including previous experience controllers.Only 500 of us will get a TOL I’m sweating ?
Wow I see why your name is hope thanks for clarifying thatThat was for 2021. We are 2022. The Handbook writes 1,000 new hires for 2022 - including previous experience controllers.
They want 1022 I believe.Only 500 of us will get a TOL I’m sweating ?
I have already been referred so, I guess I applied to the correct pool. This whole process is a sham; all too confusing and frustrating! If you applied as a pool 1 applicant but don’t qualify, they almost certainly will remove you from consideration once it’s discovered. You would need to reapply in the correct pool for the next bid.
How do you know that only 500 people are getting the TOL? It hard to see that picture you posted. Was there a place you found that number?Only 500 of us will get a TOL I’m sweating ?
