Understood now! In the email I received, it just said open to the public. However, when you go to the job announcement it states the 52 hours of work needed! Thanks for looking out.

Thanks, I’ll revisit it again. They pack so much information in there sometimes I just forget with this whole waiting around. I just keep living my life as if I didn’t get it anyways.

Aside from basic HR stuff like transitioning stuff over I would assume it’s not gonna be any easier or harder but who knows no one can understand this hiring process…
Won’t make any difference in the selection process, and you’ll still need to go through the DOT security clearance and FAA medical clearance process like everyone else. Only difference will be if you’re hired, onboarding will be a bit more streamlined since you’ll already be set up with insurance/TSP and whatnot.
I believe it’s allowed. I know pilots are allowed to. Keep it up!
