I've been waiting over two years and everyone's complaining about waiting more than a week to get confirmation their TOL was accepted?

The process has been shockingly fast for me. I hope people can slow down and enjoy their lives before it changes radically.

Patience is the number 1 virtue in this process. Waiting is normal. Huge differences in timelines is normal. One HR rep seeming to respond while another is MIA is normal.

Got an email saying that they already had a "sufficient investigation" for the security portion and that I didn't need to do anything. Anybody else get this? I do have an active clearance at my current employer but everything I read here and elsewhere said it wouldn't matter and I'd have to redo it. Pleasantly surprised don't get me wrong, just haven't heard of this happening.

I got that same email. Definitely not complaining, I did not want to fill out the eQip again lol. My clearance is only 2 years old so maybe if its within a certain timeframe you don't have to redo it?

Either way classes are filled through April and probably the majority of may too we won’t see anyone scheduled for basics until atleast June just enjoy time with friends and family before being shipped to another side of the country

how? Looks like you aren't tier 2'd, so did you request a delay or did something in security pop up? Looks like most of the 2021 bids are getting an estimated date of may-july according to hr reps

I was offered a start date of 3/3. I asked for a deferral. I wasn't told to look out for any general timeline after that. It seems like others were given an estimation, but my HR rep doesn't like to give those. She also made it sound like she doesn't know when the remaining classes are either... even though the schedule catalog is already out? She just kept saying "when a class is available I will let you know." every HR rep is different

There’s zero reason why people who applied in 2021 are already getting estimate class dates, and she has you sitting like a duck.

Star doesn’t like giving out any information at all, and then she wonders why people bug her. Just be upfront and communicative about things like other reps. ?

She seems nice. And she was really easy to work with regarding my deferral. Just wish she was a little more transparent/communicative

I have a silly question. Since some people in this bid are already waiting for a class date, will they be in class earlier than people who haven't gotten their CIL yet? Or are the people waiting for a class date also waiting for the rest of the people in this bid to be ready?

They will be in classes earlier.

did you guys ask for an estimate class date or did they just provide you with one when they notified that you were fully cleared
