MMPI-2 Tier 2 Process

Notified cleared tier 2 July 11th. Completed all the medical and security refresh requirements yesterday. Does anyone have an idea of how long it'll take to get my security clearance refresh signed off on? And my medical clearance? I've seen some people say they move things quickly after you clearance tier 2 but idk

When did you get notified of tier 2? What's your timeline like?

I also received my residence request email a few days ago. Mmpi 6/2022, Tier 2 notification: 7/2022

Notified tier 2 in May 2021, Tier 2 eval in March 2022, notified cleared tier 2 July 11th 2022.
First come, first served she says all the time.
Congratulations though you are almost out of this purgatory.

My coworker had his psychological eval November 2021 and he is still waiting for a response on that.

Last week I had to send a notarized release form for the psych evaluation. One step closer I guess.

I finally got the email with the release form and my doctor. Feels good to be moving!
Now I really know first come first serve is bs. I got forwarded to faa hq back on 07/07/2021. Still no word on my appointment.

Had my Tier 2 Psych eval in April and have not heard anything either. Has anyone tried to reaching out for a copy of the original report from the psychologist? Wondering if that would give me any idea on what the FAA might decide. Worst the Pshych can say in no right?

Took me 4 months to hear back so you should be hearing from them soon

Should we all 100% expect to completely retake the MMPI-2 again once our psych evals finally come around? If so, what is the mindset behind answering honestly(the reason you’re here in the first place) but with more emphasis on consistency, and answering how you think that they’ll want you to answer? The obvious drawback to the latter being too much disparity between the first and second tests.

I’m aware that their are other steps that go into the psych eval, including an interview with the doctor about flagged answers, just curious about what others have thought about the process yet to come.

Also, if you’ve already cleared tier 2, you’re insight would be great.

I know exactly what I did differently for the second time I took it.
1. Don't think about the question like "this could possibly be true if I had a bad day" or "if I ate bad pizza I might feel this way". It's either always true or always not.
2. You have a good family that you love and respect.
3. You don't see/hear/smell dead people and people can't read your mind.
4. It's okay to not be consistent between tests. That's why you're retaking them. Write the right answer this time.

*Disclaimer: This worked for me and might not work for you.

This is something I'm going to keep in mind. I just got my tier 2 release paperwork so they can pass my info to a provider. I know last time I thought that my wife could sometimes read my mind and I was too nit-picky about "well sometimes I have a bad day" stuff.

Finally got an actual update. My psychologist has been selected and I have been sent a release form. Probably just a few weeks out from my appointment. I am beyond excited to get through this whole process. Light at the end of the tunnel!
