Both places I've applied to, it's a collaboration. The NATCA rep at both facilities reached out to mu current rep. I would say most of the time, it's a collaborative.

I wonder if anyone else have heard about these collaborative work group staffing number increases and when they are going to get to all the facilities in the NAS. Knowing how slow the government is in doing stuff I can't imagine this getting done as quick at all...

Was told today by the Rep at the facility I applied to that I ranked 6th out of 16…and they are only picking up one possibly this NCEPT and a couple more in Dec.. Ranking 6th how’s that gonna help with anything, the Rep said my ranking will move up after this NCEPT, what does it even mean, that they will have to pick up 5 then would be my turn? The last 3 cpcs that left here were all picked up being ranked 1st…This is depressing, been at my facility for over 6 years now things aren’t looking any better…

And next round a couple more will have in for the facility. You might stay, get worse or get better. Nothing on this round means shot for the next round in reality. Good to know where you stand on a ranking list now I guess. Know whether to move on or not.

Ya exactly.. Like one of the posts here says. If you aren’t ranked first you’re last. Sad but true…Have bad 3 cpc here bid on Sup jobs in order to move on, so freaking sad mannn…
How did you even find out? Did you just directly call the rep and ask?

Yes I texted them, the Rep and VP numbers are all on the natca website. unfortunately ERR isn’t perfect, still gotta network mann, take a tour and spoke to ATM and the Reps..and that only got me to being ranked 6, on this NCEPT. Maybe I should of brought donuts or sushi hahahah…somewhere on this website mentioned a girl brought sushi and got picked up hahaha…omg you gotta be kidding me….

I’ve always wanted to text the rep & ask my ranking but never do because I don’t know how he/she will react & I don’t want it to affect my future rankings. As far as networking goes maybe in the past was worth it but in my opinion nowadays it doesn’t matter & there’s no rhyme or reason for the way they select nowadays. I toured, met the ATM & Facrep, & brought food. That got me a 6-7 ranking. It is what it is, I just try to keep my head up & keep trying & hopefully one day I’ll get it. As far as reaching out for my ranking how has that gone for the people in here who have done it? Should I try it?
