Yeah I'm fine with it getting fixed so people can't scam money but until then I'm also fine with individual people getting straight cash back from the government. While it's still reckless spending it's different than the unlimited spending on endless wars and government programs that don't do anything, it's a drop in the bucket that goes to individuals.

3M is paying out the largest mass tort in U.S. history because they gave the military faulty earplugs. I know the FAA is filled with scammers but believe it or not there are a lot of vets out there that got their lives destroyed serving the military.

My comment was responding to someone saying veterans who scam, hell they might as well and it was okay because they pay taxes, go get theirs.
Replied wasn’t directed towards you, should’ve clarified, that’s on me. It’s more of a jab at the thought process of nickel and diming vets or the welfare system in general when we are funding two different wars right and one we are funding both sides.
That’s fair. I have the same thought process when people jump right toward Ukraine as you did, or the irs or the fbi or whatever. That’s a drop in the bucket compared to the fraud waste and abuse found in the 900 billion in the dod and the 400 in the VA. And those are annual numbers of course. I use those two specifically not to attack vets because outside of Medicare and social security those are the next two largest expenditures.
You don’t know anything about VA claims if you think it’s anywhere close to easy to get a rating…
I knew a girl from the navy who had a high % from shin splints and plantar fasciitis. I’m sure it depends on your branch and who you see on the way out.
