I’m not trying to shit on your parade but that article doesn’t address the efficacy of the COVID vaccine. It just addresses the delivery method progression of mRNA vaccines and how it was utilized for the COVID vaccine. I think many of us can easily agree that vaccines have been beneficial overall and saved lives. It’s troublesome to claim that the COVID vaccine was effective, safe and absolutely necessary.

VACCINES DO NOT PREVENT DISEASE. None of them. There's no magical bubble around you where the virus never enters your body any more. What happens is you get infected and your body then fights off the disease. This HAS TO HAPPEN BECAUSE IF IT DIDN'T THERE WOULD BE NOTHING FOR YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM TO BE FIGHTING. This occurs at some rate of speed and what that speed is depends on your immune response from the vaccine. That speed may be fast enough that you never get severe disease or any symptoms at all, and may last your whole life or fade over time.

The COVID vaccines do not allow you to fight off the disease so effectively that people would colloquially say you're "immune" to it, and does fade over time. Any vaccine that allows your body to fight something off faster inherently reduces spread by you being not contagious as long and thus able to spread it for a shorter period of time, though COVID is fairly contagious so it didn't have a strong effect like that.

They absolutely do mitigate the effects and every reliable set of data that exists about them proves this reduction of severity very thoroughly. Arguing against this point is laughable and you can only believe this if you're watching RFK Jr apologists and their disgusting ilk make shit up or distort data. BTW hope you're enjoying the people who are starting to die from measles in Texas. A completely preventable outcome. Victims of similar vaccine bullshit, and it's only just beginning now that (another) con-artist in chief is in charge of our health institutes.
