CRWG

Hey, give them some time now. They’re still busy working on updating the err demand sheet from Jan 22nd. Ncept reps are a tough job.
It’s insane that there is no new err demand or priority ranking list. My facility can release 3 people and it will most likely come down to where facilities are ranked with priority. With these new numbers it’s impossible to tell the rankings.

Even the rules are vague. Like will they favor core 30 airports over the TRACON? Or the Center? How much can centers pick up to 89% and not to national average or 100%? Do they favor high level up downs just high level regular towers? Do they favor a low checkout rate or high check out rate? How does the training time play in to priority? How different is the February priority ranking to now? We should know this by now but we don’t.

The priority list is out.. ask someone on the board at your facility for it. It was emailed to them last week.

They didn’t get the demand list though. Wouldn’t be surprised if it never comes out honestly

Can’t speak for every facility but the process for developing a new staffing number for a busy center was pulling the area rep and a random FLM in to a meeting and asking them to “imagine their 90th percentile busiest day” and then going hour by hour and asking which positions would be open at that time. It was completely subjective and farcical. Facreps were coached by RVPs to jack their numbers to the fucking moon and any facility that developed a lower/even number was instructed to go back and fix it. Most facreps just tried to make it so that 85% staffed on paper was fully staffed in reality to account for the current “temporary rules” of NCEPT.

Anyway, everyone knows it’s bullshit. That’s why Cleveland center needs 100 more controllers than Atlanta center to work a million less airplanes per year. These were not data driven decisions. The people who end up in roles like NCEPT rep are the type who would struggle to put a function in a fucking spreadsheet.
How is this not fraud?

Hey, Move78 who is in charge of updating the demand sheet? Can’t even get a new one once every couple months?

ZOB is 345
ZTL is 343

I’m not sure where you are getting 100?

CRWG was never designed to facilitate transfers. It was put into law to adequately staff air traffic facilities to number the flying public deserves. The transfer portion is a related by-product of good staffing.
And yet transfers are how the NAS has been staffed up for generations, especially at the high level facilities. You don’t dump someone from the academy into ORD or IAH. From their 4/5 You then send them to MDW or HOU, then to the 12s. You wanted MSP/M98/C90/ORD you could also go to MKE or RFD. Van Nuys was a great feed for LAX, OAK for SFO. Now you go to any of those places and you’re not ever getting out. There was a functional farm system and ncept utterly destroyed it.

Complain about the crwg numbers all yall want. But that's what you pussies get for this 6 day work week waah waah waah shit. Pick your battles and have some clue what possible solutions look like

Wanting a functional minimum of Staffing and wanting the basic right to transfer like literally every controller that ever came before us isn’t mutually exclusive fuckhead

Lmao as if that has anything to do with it. Also there’s a difference between fixing broken numbers and artificially jacking up the number for facilities already hiding people in cruART

You knew exactly what numbers I was referencing. Don’t be dense.
So agree the old numbers were wrong? Support crwg on a message board and they’ll have your head.

Thanks for answering and being very helpful as a NATCA rep as usual. Glad you were able to scam your way all around Denver!
If you want I ask your rep a question get off your lazy ass and call your rep. And trying to call ERRs scams on a message board that’s full of complaints that’s there’s not enough ERRs is an interesting take.
How bout that SAT story you came up with though huh?
