Tier 2 prior military question.

I emailed RDC to see if anything has changed and my packet had been reviewed and moved onto the tier 2 people. He told me they were "a little behind so be patient". I was never notified that it hadn't gotten moved on so don't know how long it had been passed on for.

So I do know for a fact it's been at least four weeks since my packet went from RDC to Hope in D.C.

Everyone I've talked to and seen go through the tier 2 within a month have been contacted to fill out their tier 2 form so she can get the psychologist our MMPI 2 results. From there we're allowed to schedule with that assigned doctor the date of our appointment.

Once we're done with our appointment the doctor has 10 days to return everything to D.C.

From there D.C. has 45 days (not sure if working or calendar) to process the packet and approve/deny it.

I took my tier 2 evaluation on October 25th, and my Dr. sent my report/evaluation back to DC on October 30th. I hope the 45 days for them to approve or deny is accurate. Ill post in here when I get a word back. Btw, I was notified on Feb 28, 2018 of Tier 2 and I am from the April 2017 Bid. From LA, California.

No problem, I got there at 10 am didnt leave untill 7 pm. She went over my 5 years in the Navy and throughout my whole life in depth. Then you take about 5 different true/fasle test which are about 1,000 questions in total(No Joke). You do retake the exact MMPI but this time on paper. My Dr. was super chill, easy going and gave me all the time I needed. I did at the end ask how did it go and she said " There will be nothing in my report that will disqualify you or hault you in your process", which was good to hear. But she doesnt grade the tests (DC does), I have no idea how I did on them. It was so many questions my brain feelt like mush after. lol. hope this helps

I appriacte the info man. And that does not sounds like fun at all haha. Good luck and I hope you hear something back real soon!

When you said you contacted Tier 2 directly, do you mean you emailed the MMPI Tier 2 email? The one that the Tier 2 notification came from? In the notification email, I was informed that no emails would be returned, which I assumed meant not to contact them at all. Have any of you actually gotten a reply?

Mine said the same thing, but I replied to that in hopes of getting something. Any communication would be fine with me at this point.

Thanks. I might try that. I would be thrilled with any communication as well. My analyst never has updates for me and the regional medical never has any new information for me either.

I emailed the individual who handles Tier 2.

Personally, I think over two months of even waiting for coordination justifies a “I’ll be on your packet in a week or two.”

Though that’s just my opinion.

FYSA, I somewhat cornered my HR rep handling my Tier 2 case and found a way to somewhat expedite the SF-180 portion of the process... Since the SF-180 info is a pain to process, I asked if their was any information that I could provide (non-standard based on the SF-180 procedure). She told me that I could provide the medical files myself, but that the personnel file had to come from my AF personnel center.

Long story, short... You can send medical records that you have on file. I am in the Oregon Air National Guard, so I was able to gather my entire military medical record and send it to the HR rep as a .PDF via e-mail. The personnel file will have to go via the standard route, but at least medical could be sent much easier if obtained by military medical personnel and then forwarded. Fill out the release of medical information form (the local military clinic will provide this), return it to them, and have medical throw it on a disk and then create a single .PDF file to be sent via e-mail. Hope this helps!
