Government Shutdown

So which check is supposed to include our holiday pay that we missed for Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years, and MLKJr day? Does that come in the 3rd check that has all of our differentials on it?

It appears all premiums and differentials from PP01 and PP02 will be paid out on PP04, paydate Feb 26th.

I say this with a bit of trepidation because we work for the government but any payroll software worth half a shit released in the last 20 years will have plenty of capability to figure out what the difference is between what they withheld and what they should have when all the correct information is imported from ART. It's not like payroll is sitting there with an abacus trying to figure out Joe's overtime and night dif.

Again. Not sure what they use but given they pay out all the differentials and premiums every pay period it shouldn't be too hard to recalculate everyone's pay based on the new numbers.

Except for people like me and several other I know who have been getting premiums paid incorrectly for at least 2 years. They somehow can't get it right during non-shutdown periods. For example, Cru-Art will show I had 20 hours of CIC and 15 hours of OJTI in a pay period, but my LES shows they paid me for like 16 CIC and 13 OJTI. Some periods they overpay by like 7 minutes or something but when it's low it's always by multiple hours. Some periods Cru-Art and my LES are minute for minute accurate. So I'm feeling this will be hard for them to get right.

From post #1275 it basically says we'll get our holiday pay on February 26th if I'm reading it correctly. Possibly our last paycheck if the government shuts down again lol...

I don’t see why we wouldn’t get MLK holiday pay on the 12th. It’s in PP03. PP03 time cards aren’t due until next Wednesday.

so the government is up and running and there are people who worked Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day, MLK Day and who knows how much overtime, and they aren't going to be paid for it until February 26th (mind you 11 days after the shutdown could and probably will happen again) WTF is going on here?

Just look on the bright side, with all that extra time to calculate differentials, holidays, and OT there's only a 99% chance your check will be fucked to all hell instead of 100%.

You'll be paid Feb 12th.
We are currently in the midst of PP03. If all timecard amendments are inputted timely for the PP03 processing, your payment will include your regular pay for non-lapsed days within PP03, plus any remaining back pay that is due to you for the lapse period that falls in this current pay period (1/20/2019 through 1/25/2019. The official pay day for PP03 is Tuesday, February 12, 2019, although you may see your direct deposit as early as Friday, February 8, 2019, depending on your financial institution.
