I really hope they don't attempt to contact every single stable I've ever cleaned stalls for. Some of them didn't have an email or even answer their phones. It would be a major waste of everyone's time.

I know the SF-86 asks for a decade of employment history, but does every one of your previous employers get a letter? I think I read somewhere that they only check in with employers from the last five years. Can anyone enlighten me?

For me it was only my employer at the time, and I'd only been there six months or so. YMMV.

Haha, me too! This your first time applying? Its my first time and I've already driven myself crazy waiting for first contact so that we can take the ATSA and get it out of the way lol?

I believe someone from my bid didn't tell their employer and he got fired when they got the letter. I'm pretty cool with my boss so I told him straight up but no one at my job got a letter that I know.

But like they've said, it's a looooong way. I applied June 14th 2019, and didn't get to that point until January 2020

oh that's just messed up he didn't do anything wrong!

Man, we have a long way to go. Everyone always says apply and move on with your life and they are correct. I would assume we still have a few weeks before we even get to ATSA invites.

Yeah I believe it took a little bit less than 3 months to get the ATSA invite

Yeah I've learned to make life go on but I'm still eager to hear back. I'm excited to move to this stage of my life ?

This might have been me. It was actually the during the 17 bid, but I like to pop into these threads and warn people. Remember that in most cases your employer doesn’t care about your life or advancement. Multiple people at your company might get requests from OPM, so even if your direct supervisor knows, other people might be surprised when they get the letter.

Hoping I get enroute, but I'm happy getting tower or TRACON too. Had a couple friends that are ATCs here at the local center near me and recommend me to it and here I am. Always had a facination with planes but never thought about making it into a career until last year. Then it made sense to me why I never found my passion.

You could be sent to an Up/Down which is a tower and TRACON co-located. No standalone TRACONs are available for academy gras.

Anyone else wondering if they are gonna push the ATSA invites out a few months due to the whole virus situation? I saw that OKC classes that haven’t started yet are being postponed.
