Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ATCEXP-63736

That is what I want! I would love to get certified then transfer to A80. I want to live in Georgia. I like the area and this is where all of my wife's family is.
Obviously it depends on the facility and times could be different at M03. It depends on what you want though. I had a few standalone TRACONs but they weren’t close to where I wanted to be so I didn’t really rank them too high.
I think U90 was in my top 5 the rest were low Y90 and A11. Lol

Is there a reason why you didn’t want A11 besides location? I was just assigned A11 last week.

I wanted to be in a specific area and I figured A11 would be harder to staff and move on from and Y90 was as well. I read Y90 was in a super expensive area too. I knew someone at U90 and he certified in under a year and I figured Tucson wouldn’t be too bad and quick/cheap flights home and back.

Anyone on here at OMA or know anyone there, that wouldn't mind extending some sort of olive branch, I have a few questions. Thank you in advance.

Contact them at the phone number on the facility page, Ive done it for several facilities and no one minded.

Did you get your list last week? What were your start date options if you don't mind me asking? My wife is freaking out about trying and selling our house with the Coronavirus crap going on.
I had about a 2 month window starting Apr 26 to June 21 with about 2 weeks between each. I reached out to the ATM at my facility to see what the inprocessing looks like. I've heard (only rumor) that some just "check in" to get on the payroll then wait for a call to start heading back.

I'm in the same situation and I asked for a start day that was a month past what they offered and they didn't mind.

That’s what my ATM and FACREP told me. Check-in so you could start getting a paycheck and stay at home
