I generally try to avoid mud wrestling with pigs but I just wanna point out this is a shit comparison. If you wanted to know how a casino runs, asking someone that worked there isn't a bad start.

I guess Average Joe down the street has the same level of insight to the FAAs operation as Pushing Tin according to his logic lol.

Lol I wouldnt go to a casino if I wanted a lesson on financial planning, and being a former postal employee is 0 qualification to diagnose USPS insolvency. I've often asked front desk postal employees about the USPS political news of the day while mailing my packages, and literally never once had anyone express a deep knowledge of the issue or do anything other than literally laugh out loud or smirk at the idea of problems , layoffs, building closures, etc. "Oh we arent worried about that, we'll be fine that will never affect us". They must have some strong union kool-aid. Better health insurance too.

If you think mailing a letter from Miami to Anchorage for 55 cents is a way to not go broke, I have a bridge to sell you. Or a postcard for 35 cents from Key West to Honolulu lolz. Or 70 lbs of diving weights for $15-20. Christmas wish letters all the way to the North Pole!!!? Lol or the concept of "forever" stamps. Or helping make Jeff Bezos the richest human in the history of the world.for pennies on the dollar! The pension fund is an odd quirk in law, but not close the sole reason for USPS financial woes.

I worked in HQ. The things DankVectorz mentioned are pretty widely known and accepted - you just have to do a quick Google search tbh.

But although I think you're completely wrong about this, I will say I have agreed with some of things you've posted about in the past.

Oh man this is so true, it is crazy how many scammers there are in the government, maybe that’s why the USPS went down? Anyway, I worked at McDonalds when I was 16 too so I know shit. USPS gets some great benefits, better healthcare I think then normal government employees, or at least they pay it at a discounted rate. USPS is allegedly a great place to work I haven’t heard people complain about it since they got past that workplace shooting wave they had in the 90’s. It’s a quasi government agency that is coddled and too big to fail, just like ATC should be.

Serious question, what do internet trolls get out of being trolls? Like, is it joy in eliciting anger or frustration, sexual gratification, filling a hole your abusive father left, boredom? You just jerking it while you’re reading this post imagining it’s ‘Lib Tears’ as lube? Super intriguing to me as a psych major who wasn’t smart or motivated enough to continue.
