So one of the main points that was discussed/ordered by AJT leadership on a telecon today was how if you're in a duty status of admin/excused for a shift you are expected to be recallable. If you won't be available to come in, you need to take some form of leave. If you're recalled, and you are away and unable to report, because it wasn't approved leave it can/should be coded as AWOL.
The example was someone on an excused 3pm-11pm shift. If that person is called at 4pm to come into work, taking into account the normal commute time, they are expected to show up and work.

Do with that what you will, but seemed to be the topic of the day.

Which is how admin has always been. Has anyone, ever been called an hour into their admin shift and been told to come in right now?

Which is why I think there was some reasoning that wasn't mentioned on why this was being discussed. Probably happened somewhere.

I was recalled once to come in same day, as a trainee lol. But since then, I plan on the 24 hour notice thing and don’t answer my phone. We are also not listed as specific shifts so that’s a little different than some facilities.

When the schedule is made, the WX shift is actually a WX<15> for a 3pm shift. Or whatever it is locally for your facility. A 7am shift would be something like a WX<7>
That's how they get the night differential pay correct on the excused absences. It doesn't show the shift in WebScheduler, but it filters into Cru-ART correctly.

That could be right. I haven’t received night diff the last two checks, and I’d bet when I look tomorrow it will not have any either. Web schedule just shows admin leave last I looked.

I had a couple days of annual that fell on our 5 days off a couple weeks ago and I'm being told I'm shit out of luck and being charged for it. I forgot about it since I'm really only checking what days I work currently on this schedule i didnt bid.

Lol yah, if you didn’t cancel them it’s annual. Reps should have made that clear when this all started. I know I text a few people and warned them as well.

I don’t see what grievance you would have. It’s not like a shutdown where leave is a paid status and can not be approved.
