Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-20-ALLSRCE-65607

Good luck to everyone who got referred! I received a Qualified score, my first time taking this test. I don't expect to get a TOL but we'll see what happens! I think my issue was hitting the wrong keys because of the guides they place on the keyboard kept moving and messing me up, instead of me just taking them off??‍♂️

Good luck to everyone who was able to test and was referred! My testing center in AZ cancelled my test and my status was changed to “not referred” this morning. Annnnddd I’m 30 ?
Ah I'm sorry dude, Air National Guard time?!?!

2 to 3 months at best. But with Covid, only a guess of who knows
Depends on Covid a lot, but this years bid has been moving faster. I was looking at my last years bid and last years TOL's came within two weeks of referred/not referred. Funny enough this years bid got referred/not referred status faster (3 weeks) than last years (4-5 weeks). It could possibly be due to there not being enough applicants testing meaning a smaller pool to sift through, it could also explain why some people with a "qualified" score (pool 2 only) are also being referred, compared to last year no one under a "Best Qualified" was. This definitely does not mean that the rest of the process will go faster though, we will just have to wait and see.

This was the biggest shock to me, I got well qualified last year and immediately went to not reffered. I guess there is still nope for us all haha

Isn’t there gonna be another pool of applicants who will be scheduled at a later date? Maybe the referrals will be adjusted after they take the test.

At this point, no one knows.

Like Mnichols said,

So maybe not.

Maybe they won’t have a second OTS bid this year. First group of testers counts as the first hiring wave and the second group of testers is the second, and there won’t be another bid. I would PERSONALLY be surprised if they had this test group wait until the other one was done especially since the already came out with referred/not referred without even having a date set for the next round of testing. Crazier things have happened though.

Anyone from the 2019 bid know how long it took from referral to TOL? Seems like we are dealing with a much smaller pool this time since everyone was referred and so more people might have a shot since they have less applications to sift through

It was 2-4 weeks for 2019. They seemed to also send them out alphabetically in 3 waves that were 1 week apart from each other.

Looking back at my emails, my status changed on USAJOBS on October 29th and I received my TOL on Nov 15th. So just slightly over 2 weeks

Same. Got Qualified & Referred. We’ll see. Cheers to u guys on a BQ!
Also BQ! Good luck to all! How long does it usually take for them to send out TOLs?
It can be a month from no. This year we got our results back in less than a month.

It took 2 weeks after the last testing date for them to bring out TOLs.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.....Went from WQ (not referred) last year to Q (but referred???) shouldve just not taken the test and I would've had a better chance this time around. Not sure how I did worse, but oh well good luck everyone in the WQ-BQ score. In the meantime, I'll be looking for a new job because I can't stand my current one.

No one knows how they grade. It could be relative the people you take the rest with.

Congrats to those BQ'd! Keep in mind the HR reps are 1) still working from home. 2) working on transitioning the students from last bid from virtual to academy and still have those students who didn't elect to take virtual basics. 3) still handling the exp bids. So take the average referred to TOL wait time in the past with a grain of salt. Have patience, because if you lose it now, you're going to be in for a long year.
