How do they notify you of passing medical and security? I did the interview months ago and haven't heard anything. I am just assuming that the silence is a good thing even with current events.

2nd question, what time do the online classes run? Trying to figure out if I'll be able to mesh that with my 2200-0600PST job.

Yeah, I declined virtual at first. They didn't tell me much about the class itself, just that I'm going to get an email in the next 2 weeks with my FOL and more information.

Okay awesome thats good news because i declined at first too. So then they did go to basics online instead of at OKC.

I had to contact my HR POC to ask, they never notified me when I passed. Not sure of the class times unfortunately.

For my class, it was 9am-5:30pm OKC time (I think they're central?). Since you're PST, it should start at 7 am then.
Prior to on boarding, I was told that we are not allowed to hold another job. Might want to ask your HR rep about your situation.

True, however if you fall in that category you receive a larger daily per diem while at the academy. Last I knew it was $61 daily.
Do you know this from personal experience? I hope this is the case, because I was told I wouldn’t receive anything since I’m already located here. She may have just been referring to lodging though.
Got a call today saying they were scheduling the onboarding for all remaining TOLs. Got an onboarding date of Sept 14th, En Route.
So what about people who got a FOL back in February and turned down initial online basics? Are they just going to skip over us lol, hopefully I get a call soon.

I just accepted an onboarding date of 9/14 for Enroute, as well. For reference, I was completely cleared around March 26.
My fiance just accepted this one too! He was told he can get a part time job. We'll be moving in with my mom in OKC to help with the pay decrease from his current job.

For all of the ones who accepted this onboarding, was this the only date offered? Also, when were you medically cleared and who is your HR POC? Really trying to gauge when I might get a call if they’re going on order by medical clearance.

I was fully cleared in March, CS is my HR POC. I was initially offered the 7/27 Enroute class but I had to pass on it due to work.

Has anybody who turned down online basics for in person basics received a call for a new online class date?
A few people in this thread it seems have. Someone was told by their HR rep that they're going to be onboarding the remaining TOLs now that the Academy is open. So that seems pretty clear to me.

Any tips on studying/memorizing the phraseology? Ive been studying like I did the map, just constant repetition. Which seems to be working, however I'm open to any other methods you used. Congrats on the 91 by the way.
Sounds like you are doing the right thing. You should be able to recite all the phraseology before you start running problems. Not sure if you already have it, but they give you a “strip marking guide“. Go through this as much as possible it will help you get the phraseology and stripmarking down.
You can’t get enough practice. Everything needs to be automatic. The map. The phraseology. The stripmarking. When you think you know them well enough practice more. All of your efforts during evals should be focused on solving traffic problems.

I have DF. I sent her an email, so we will see on the job thing.

I know we both were medically cleared around the same time. I talked to my hr rep and she said that i wasn’t on her onboarding list yet and that I would probably receive a class date in the new fiscal year. So if they’re giving onboarding dates based on when we clear everything, that’s probably the case for you too. It makes sense because they don’t have any basic classes scheduled past September. I care about getting a class, but I think I care more about knowing when it is and that I’ve got one lol
