That’s good to hear. I still have a copy of my old SF86. Hopefully they just let me update it as needed

I had a clearance during my time in the Navy and when I separated from the military, I landed a civilian job with the DOD that requires one so I have an active clearance now. The SF86 and I are good friends.

Does having a recent SF85 help? Isnt there more questions on the SF86?

I don't remember there being more questions. Having recently done it made it easier.

You do have to always re do them, but your answers are still in the system so you should only have to update most recent changes.

No. They’re more concerned with debt in default. They aren’t qualifying you to buy a house

No, I have a TS and as long as you can disclose the bills and have some proof or paperwork backing your statements that you paid them off then you will be just fine. Just don't lie.

Shouldn't be because debt was paid. Its outstanding balances that's the issue
