N90

In the 3 years I've been here I haven't seen a single Prior experience new hire wash out but at least 6 faa transfers in my sector alone. Yeah, where that prior experience is from will make a difference though. If you're coming from White Sands Missile Range you might as well not have experience. Hopefully they're not doing what they used to do and won't send people whose only experience is tower.
You ever been to White Sands? I did the Bataan Death March there two years in a row

To update:
Track 1 hiring announcement for N90 is planned for October 2017

(They label it prior experience, but Track I is the All Source hiring)

More details will be posted when they become available.

I don't understand breakaway. What do you mean used as "control".
Basically a scientific 'control' in an experiment. The N90 hiring process is vastly changing around him. We had the belief that the 8 and above requirement would be lifted from the N90 bid. It hasn't yet. When and if it does, my assumption is CaptainObvious would be one of the first selected. Until I hear that, I don't have anything else to offer the 7 and below CPC's who bid N90.

So CaptainObvious is at a 7 or below and if selected being used as the metric for whether 7's and below get selected in the future??? Jesus, no pressure there lol

It's a punch in the gut when the facrep and everyone tell you sorry it's still in place regardless of the ambiguity in the email from the NEB. Yet at the same time direct hire and all source bids are put out with selections being made. And rumors of a local area bid. Starts to feel like they're not all that serious about fixing the issue. That or the agency's current employees are valued less than the applicants.

Honestly I think they're trying anything and everything to avoid paying out the 27k move money to 7 and below.

I'm from a 7 up/town too, and I personally don't give a shit about that 27k move, they can keep it. My issue with this is what CaptainObvious said above. What happened to "level 8 requirement are lifted effective immediately." Is all freaking BS...

I'm in the same exact boat you guys are. Going out there for a tour soon. Looking forward to seeing the facility.

No way man! I wasn't asking that snarky by the way, just curious what the desire all of a sudden, it can't be the extra 15%.
