Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-20-ALLSRCE-65607

It’s not about your opinion or what you think it’s asking for. When they ask for all medical conditions to be listed, it means list all medical conditions. That’d be like someone saying “in my opinion, the SF-86 is only asking for history of major crimes like rape or murder.” Or in a comparison to the actual job, “in my opinion, 1.5 miles separation is fine, the rule is only intended to make sure the aircraft don’t touch.” I guarantee you if you have diabetes or asthma and don’t disclose it and the agency somehow finds out you lied, it’s not going to go well.

This was my thought. I'd rather err on the side of caution and list every time I went for a stomach ache that persisted and was nothing than presume it only meant "on-going conditions" or things such as high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. Thank you!

Finally finished my EQIP, sent my fingerprints, have my medical next week...all thats missing now is MMPI when i can get a hold of someone after the weekend.

So theyre not giving the "60 day" window after receiving your CIL Im assuming based off of the time frame they are giving yall....

Nothing has changed with regards to the 60 day window. It's dependent on when you receive the instructions email for security, medical, and MMPI-2. The security requirement is the generally the most time sensitive since you have to submit fingerprints within XX days and then submit the EQIP after that. The medical and MMPI-2 is less time sensitive and can be scheduled within the 60 day window. However, as with most prior bids, I'll reiterate that it's better to complete all pre-employment clearance requirements as soon as possible so the FAA can start background and medical checks.

Mine said I have a 60 day window to get everything done. But then my security poc said I had to turn in all my security stuff by December 18th lol every poc had different deadlines but the original CIL email said 60 days

I got my CIL and called to schedule my MMPI. I didn’t get any fingerprint email yet. Just wondering what the EQIP is!?
Oh boy you should probably google it. After I got my TOL I read the FAQ and previous bid threads to see what to expect. The eqip contains the sf-86 and it’s very in depth. You’re going to need a ton of info. I’ve completed mine already. I actually googled it a month and a half ago and went through every single question and reached out to people for the info I needed and put it in a word doc so all I had to do was transfer the info. It worked out so well. It would’ve taken forever had I not done this.

Thank you I did this already too. Just didn’t know the acronym.

The SF-86 is going to be more involved the more complex your life has been. The more places you’ve lived, places you’ve worked, foreign contacts you’ve had, criminal records you’ve had, etc. the more information you’re going to have to put in. Just know that everything is going to be very in depth. For example with residency history, they are going to want exact addresses for where you’ve lived, exact dates you lived there, and someone who can verify the information for the past 10 years. So if you’ve moved a lot, it’s going to take you more time than if you lived with your parents your whole life.

I've always lived with my parents haha does that mean i just put down every address we lived at past 10 years?

For residency, I lived with an ex girlfriend for one month before I moved back in with my parents. We had a year lease and I did not live there the rest of the 11 months.
Sf-86 says 'not required to list temporary locations of less than 90 days that did not serve as your permanent or mailing address.'

My question is, would this count as a temporary living location that did not serve as a permanent or mailing address? I used the address to receive mail from the ISP and ConEd at that address. All other mail was sent to my parents house. Thank you for all the help so far.

Just list it. Err on the safe side always.

We discovered everyone’s directions are different. Some people have to email the form and some have to mail the form with their 2 sets of fingerprints. Read your email. It gives you all the details for what your specific POC wants.

I have an appointment with the my local sheriff today and sending them out tomorrow. So law enforcement said they can do them but only on their card (FD 258 and my POC said as long as the card has the bio info like Sex, Race, Height, Weight, you can use the other fingerprint cards. Also it doesn't matter if its digital or ink; if they're digital the pictures of your prints will print in the box for each finger.

So I got this Email on October 2nd and haven't heard anything since. Same for y'all? My lease just ended at my current apartment and trying to figure out if it's prudent to sign another 1 year lease.

"Thank you for your acceptance of our tentative offer letter and for returning the required documents. We are excited that you have decided to start your new journey with our Agency! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, portions of the clearance process are on hold. Once all requirements resume, you will receive instruction for the next steps of the process which includes:

• Complete all pre-employment forms

• Begin the Clearance Process. Once pre-employments forms are completed, you will receive a clearance instruction letter (CIL) that outlines all medical, security and drug screening requirements. You may experience a delay in receiving your CIL even after the process resumes, but rest assured that this process is closely tracked and we will be reaching out to you as expediently as possible. It is not unusual for this process to take a few months. Once you receive the CIL, you will have 60 days from the date of the CIL to complete ALL of the pre-employment clearance requirements.

We appreciate your patience as we work through these challenging times."
