Are admin schedules still a thing?
New employees at my previous facility were signing in and out of ARTS under scope of 8 hour days. Upon inquiry of management, was told that there are no admin schedules anymore.

Transferred to new facility recently and was told I am on admin schedule (8.5 hour days).

If you aren't certified on anything you should be working 8.5 hour days. I've not heard anything different.

I’m done with D-sides and they have me on admin schedule for R school, but have the people that haven’t started their D school working as RPOs and gave them 8 hour days.

At least at our facility if youre working/training in the operation then 8 hours. If you're purely classroom then 8.5

We use them before someone starts OJT or if they are down because of medical issues.

Once they are working traffic, training or otherwise, they go to 8 hour days.

The only reason to maintain currency is if you're recallable, and if you're recallable you should not be on an admin schedule regardless of where you're assigned for the day.
