Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

Say you fudged your numbers a bit, put in you worked full time but didn't--would hr find out? Even though theres 120 college credits, which wouldn't make the employment matter much in how qualified you were to get the atsa invite

if you think this came across "dickish" well then have fun as an atc trainee
...This fits pretty well into the theme of this thread..
Candidate: hey guys any idea what our odds look like?
Controller 1: lol you morons don’t even have a TOL yet go to hell
Candidate 2: that seemed a little unnecessary a pointless
Controller 2: HAHAHAHA you idiots have no idea. If you thought that was bad, just wait till okc...IF you actually get there.. LOSERS

wash, rinse, repeat

What these people are saying about training at a facility is true, how they say it may come of wrong but it's true. I had issues with a trainer at my first facility, ultimately it was just a huge personality conflict.

Oh I have no doubt it’s true. A buddy of mine who is enroute has told me his experiences. I just take issue with guys who just graduated a year ago hopping on and using their experience as an opportunity to shoot us candidates down any given chance they get

I agree that it's not bad compared to what they're going to see at their facilities. I don't even care if controllers want to get on and tell them who cares relax etc. What is absurd is some trainee puke coming on and calling people names and talking like he's better than them when he went through the exact same thing a year ago. Then as soon as he's called out, he makes his profile private as if that suddenly means he's not a hypocrite.

Why does seemingly everyone already on the job act like this is the only job in the world that people are tough on you and that there are assholes you have to interact with? Most workplaces require professionalism to deal with issues such as your boss or trainer being tough or rude to you. Sounds like a lot of people on the ATC job don't have the professionalism to do their job despite their feelings. Because I and other people took exception to someone being an asshole on this thread does not have any implications on our abilities to maintain professionalism on the job.
