If I get a TOL, should I bring a backpack to the academy???
So there's basically an hour limit at each facility, that varies by facility, that you have to complete your training by?
Is this live position training only?Yes. But it's not just by facility. It's also broken down by position. So you could see something like:
FD: 30 hours
GC: 50 hours
LC2: 80 hours
LC1: 100 hours
Sometimes if you are close and at the end of your hours you can be given up to 20% extra but that's up to management and not guaranteed.
Well you only get a certain number of lab problems as well...Is this live position training only?
So simulated scenarios and live training. Got it. I’m coming from the mentality of total days of training per position.Well you only get a certain number of lab problems as well...
What's the difference between Band 1/2 vets in pool 1?Last Years pool break down
Those hours don't include classroom or simulation time if and when they are applicable if that's what you're asking. Is this live position training only?

How were you able to find out your score? I still haven't been able to find out my score. I've been told that you won't be able to find out. hoping I did well. Fingers crossed.I initially thought band 1 was 90% or above. That’s a bit of a relief. Still don’t know how well I did, but it’s definitely better than 90%.
Damn, I like your confidence. If you definitely know you did better than 90% based on past statistics you're sure to get a TOL.I initially thought band 1 was 90% or above. That’s a bit of a relief. Still don’t know how well I did, but it’s definitely better than 90%.

I think he was saying he thought band 1 was 90% or above, and he’s happy to hear that it’s 85. Not that he thinks he scored above a 90. That’s how I read it at least..You won't find out your score. I think he is just really confident in how he did.

Just curious, I was referred for Pool 1, being military, is there a way to determine which Band I am in or is that never released?
