Hiring Bid Air Traffic Control Specialist - Trainee: FAA-ATO-18-ALLSRCE-57792

So there's basically an hour limit at each facility, that varies by facility, that you have to complete your training by?

Yes. But it's not just by facility. It's also broken down by position. So you could see something like:

FD: 30 hours
GC: 50 hours
LC2: 80 hours
LC1: 100 hours

Sometimes if you are close and at the end of your hours you can be given up to 20% extra but that's up to management and not guaranteed.

Is this live position training only?

I initially thought band 1 was 90% or above. That’s a bit of a relief. Still don’t know how well I did, but it’s definitely better than 90%.
How were you able to find out your score? I still haven't been able to find out my score. I've been told that you won't be able to find out. hoping I did well. Fingers crossed.

Damn, I like your confidence. If you definitely know you did better than 90% based on past statistics you're sure to get a TOL.

You won't find out your score. I think he is just really confident in how he did.

What was the hiring goal for last year?
I believe around 1700. Correct me if I am wrong.

Just curious, I was referred for Pool 1, being military, is there a way to determine which Band I am in or is that never released?

The radar sim completely throws off my predictions on scoring. The rest of it is pretty straightforward, but the sim bases score on so many factors... how many collisions, how well you prioritize which dots to cancel/how many extra dots you have to cancel, how many math questions you get (I'm assuming they are factored in to some degree)... yeah. I'm sure I did very well on the rest of it, but the radar thing is pretty unclear.
