7 years at my low level up/down and still waiting for the day I can check to see if I’ve been selected on a NCEPT panel. Tack on a couple more years. People stuck at a 8-12 getting paid handsomely in the mean time. Stop with your bitching already.

Lol "stuck at a lvl 10-12" results in an Article 124 anywhere you want to go along with fantastic pay and retirement benefits from working at a lvl 10+ for 15 or so years. What do lvl 4-7 black hole facilities get after 15 years stuck? Also, why is Jamaal giving these briefs? Where is the NCEPT team?

Does this infer that there are "right" and "wrong" places to apply to? Like DEN is "wrong" because of the demand?

6 trainees have quit, 1 cpc, 3 cpc’s allowed to go supervisor while staffing numbers to low (2 were in house hires), 1 hardship, 3 retirements (2 med).
Now that numbers are finally strong and we had light at the end of the tunnel, people were excited and morale was at good spot. Now there’s still no guarantee I’ll be able to leave in the next couple years. Who knows if more people will quit because of this.

You’ve never been at a black hole then. When you need to certify every trainee you have, plus 5 people who haven’t even been hired yet to let 1 go, people don’t put in paperwork that going to get put in the trash

Remember 4 years ago when you said that you are not going to leave the union because NCEPT will slowly play out and eventually you’ll be the only guy at your facility who wants to transfer?

I doubt that. The model was specifically formulated to account for COVID, and avoid edits in the future. pretty sure the thing people are complaining about here (like the 2.52 years comment about ZFW deleted) just shows that people aren't reviewing the New Hire and CPCIT training formulas and don't realize that the overall time and rates are now weighted for the ratio of NH v. CPCIT that facilities have.

Make sure you apply for the OTS bid if you’re still young enough too so you actually get the best shot at your dream facility 😂
