I just think it should be fair. And 2 runs is a huge advantage. My 2 cents.

I don’t disagree that it’s not a huge advantage. It would be a logistical nightmare for them to redo everyone’s test. Last thing people need is more confusion at HR lol.I just think it should be fair. And 2 runs is a huge advantage. My 2 cents.

I do think the testing window this year was too short, they could have at least extended the availability in light of the PSI failure.
What was the testing like... what kind of questions?Just learned I scored in the best qualified last bid. Hard to decide if it's worth taking the ATSA again . . .
What is the ATCPrep website you used?Took the ATSA the other night. I had been using ATCPrep for a while and it helped a good bit, the concepts are the same just presented a little different on the test. Felt pretty decent about the whole thing even though I had a handful of collisions on the radar portion. It's true what the masses say, they are inevitable towards the end of the section when it gets fast and busy.
Multiply the last numbers and try to find an answer that ends in the correct number. But your priority should be to separate the dotsDoes anyone have any advice on an easy way to handle the math problems during the radar portion? I have ATCPrep set to "difficult" level but even that is nowhere near as difficult as on the real ATSA. When I took it last year, most of the math problems I was presented with involved multiplying with decimals and most of the time I just didn't even attempt them. Any math tricks for these? Lol.
I think the prep helped quite a bit, if for nothing more than getting the routines down and developing systems for remembering the numbers and equations, etc..About how much time should you give yourself to practice/study before the exam? Do you feel that actually buying the prep helped you in the long run versus just reading the material?

Did you ever find out?In what ways do you feel like the numbers game was 10x harder than the ATCprep? Was it faster or larger numbers to work with?

Thanks!! I take my test this Tuesday ??. 90min away haha so fingers crossed there aren’t any reschedules for me because I’m taking a 1/2 day off of work for this ?. Will keep you all updated on my end. I’ve been practicing a bunch so I hope it helps. So I just took the exam (and got humbled pretty hard). My guess is, when they said it's 10x harder, they may be talking about the fact that there is 0 time between differences and answer input. (I.e. 6 pops up, then 4, but 4 stays on the screen until you input a number. As soon as you input your answer, it shows the next number with no delay)However, that number appeared to have never disappeared so in my opinion that makes it easier as long as you remembered the previous number.
Those logical reasoning and reading comp questions destroyed me though. That was the part I was most concerned about going into it. I guess I am just hopeful for the best, but expecting the worst at this point. Someone took the test on this day last year and didn't get a TOL until 12/27, sooooo 3 more months of waiting!
BravoWhiskeyTwoThree just posted a reply with some helpful insight! ??Did you ever find out?
I think I don't have much of a preference because I don't know enough about the two to really know which I'd prefer to do for the rest of my life. But the extra money and large urban locations of enroute sound nice. Personally, I doubt I'll mind either way. I'd hate to be one of those people who called HR and asked to switch and then failed at the academy and have to spend the next several months wondering if I would have done better it I had just stuck with what I was given.I want to throw this question out to the thread: Does anyone know whether they would prefer to be picked up as Enroute or Terminal? I personally am a Terminal person. Last I knew the Academy was pushing Enroute pretty hard but that may change by the time we would be getting in.
