Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-19-ALLSRCE-61676

I'm still hoping the rumblings of a potential Jan bid are true even though I can't remember ever hearing about bids that close together both OTS.

When I was at the academy we spent a day at the testing building and they had us try out new games as well as old ATSAT ones (which I found much harder than the ATSA). I wonder when they'll start incorporating the new tests (they said they had no direct timeline for them).

Pool 2, Best Qualified, Referred.

If there's a guy here from Houston, TX that took it Oct 7th at 2pm. You were taking it for the second time, hope you got referred this time brother

So I was reading the pay & benefits section of the bid again and was wondering how long would it take on average for an ATC to get into a pay grade that is reasonable coming out of Academy? Where I am currently employed I am earning well over what I would starting out of Academy, if the pay grade that it suggests is accurate. I am not sure how much they allocate for locality pay, and if we can actually keep that.

Define “reasonable”?

So I received a Qualified/ referred in pool 1. Is it safe to assume I won't get a TOL based on my score? I am prior military, with air traffic experience.

When you graduate the acadamy you get bumped up to AG pay which is about 45K. From there it’s up to you to get through training and get your raises.

There isn't really any way of knowing, just have to hope that the odds are in your favor.

Is anyone seeing "Referred" on both the USAJobs website AND the FAA website? So far, I'm still only seeing "Referred" in USAJobs and "Received" on FAA.
