Finished with everything in the CIL, does anyone know how long it normally takes to get a date assuming i don't fall into Tier2? Saw 1 signature where it looked like they received a date a week or 2 after they cleared everything

It's a crapshoot honestly. HR has said they give people class dates in the order they've been cleared. There's people that cleared in October and November of last year still waiting for their class dates to give you a better picture.

I’m still waiting on my CIL, but I’ve been thinking about the medical clearance process.

Can the vets here please weigh in on how thorough I need to be in digging up old medical records?

Will they request all medical records, or will they just request that I list what I can recall over the last, idk, few years?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I’ve just been to a lot of different specialists over the years since I didn’t have a PCP until recently.

Also, I went to the doc for chest pain, and it turned out to be costochondritis (sternum pain, non-cardiac related).

I also hit my head once and got a lil dizzy. Went to an ENT, but the dizziness went away shortly after that.

Lastly, I was having heart palpitations. Went to a cardiologist. Turned out I was just consuming too much caffeine (coffee and pre workout). Everything came back normal.

All of these things happened a few years ago.

I’m perfectly healthy right now, and I’m wondering if I should disclose these things and whether disclosing them will disqualify me or raise concern?

I know I asked a lot of questions here, but any input is appreciated. ??

The medical worksheet will require you to list every single visit and rx.

The med-express goes back 3 years and only asks for rx’s that you are currently taking.

Disclose it all.

Be prepared to retrieve anything questionable. If the flight surgeon wants more info, they will let you know. So I recommend collecting those supporting documents now in case you’re asked for it.

Does anyone know if we have to list the actual address of our supervisor/previous supervisor for the eqip employment section? I can easily get my current supervisor’s address, but I don’t even know the phone number of my previous supervisor. Can I just list their name and the company number and address?

Company address to where they can receive mail should be fine

SV sent an email that EODs will be down until Feb. 22nd. She said it will not be held against you as far as getting them submitted within 5 days. She also said she will be working on CIL next week, for those of you with her as your POC.

Sorry if this has been asked many times, how strict is their recommendation to not give notice to current employer? I'm in a situation where my small family needs more living space as we've stayed with a parent for a couple years, and the only realistic way to rent would be moving far enough away that I'd have to find new work for a short time.

This email also stated that for those who have not received the EODs email yet that they can expect it on Feb. 22nd as well for those wondering.

Thanks for this.

I have nearly all my medical records from the past three years. Just waiting on one more doc.

But I just re-read this and realized that the medical worksheet is separate from Med-Express.

Since the medical worksheet requires me to list every single visit and rx, how would I go about remembering/retrieving medical records since the day I was born?

That seems rather excessive unless I'm misunderstanding. Also, if it does go back that far, what if someone forgets to disclose something and then that comes back to bite them in the future?

I don't have any serious medical conditions. Just wondering how this all works.

Just do your best to list what you remember. Obviously don’t intentionally leave anything out, but there’s also no way for them to verify every single appointment/visit you’ve ever had, particularly if you don’t have any chronic/serious conditions.

If I recall correctly but I could be wrong, the worksheet asks to list any visits within the past 3 years. The prescriptions, conditions and surgeries/procedures are over your entire life, but what they're really looking for is prescriptions that are not allowed in the FAA and conditions that can disqualify you. You wont be DQd for prescriptions in the past, you just cant use that prescription while being a controller. They won't disqualify you for not disclosing being prescribed antibiotics for a strep throat 15 years ago compared to not disclosing things like anti depressants, opioids, benzos, etc which would be a huge red flag not to disclose. Just remember as much as you can, lots of conditions or past prescriptions are usually mitigated by additional doctor visits and personal statements.

Yes the medical worksheet asks for your entire health and medical history over the course of your lifetime.
This is filled out prior to gaining access to med expréss. Med express goes back 3 years

Yeah I'm not convinced that I have to disclose every visit, condition, and prescription. How would they know about the pills we took in the past? If they do have access to those records, why are they asking us in the first place? Seems like they just wanna scare us with a hefty fine and some time in the clink if we don't play it their way.
