MMPI-2 Tier 2 Process

Not trying to completely crush your optimism, but next week makes 3 months since I was notified I failed and my paperwork hasn't even been reviewed by the FS yet to approve the Tier 2.
trust me, im not optimistic whatsoever, they havent even notified me that im tier 2, I emailed Medical and they told me they should send me an email soon so lol. This just fucking blows.

Hang in there man. Even if it costs you a year, you’ll make it.

Received my official Tier-2 letter. They are requesting a complete copy of my military personnel records. Does anyone know where to send the SF-180? I served in the USMC if that helps.

Any idea of how many people are in the middle of this process atm? Seems as if hiring numbers go down there should not be a huge list of people waiting. Thoughts?

No Idea, But there are people in here that have been waiting for 1-2 years and others have been through it within a few months...

I havent even been notified by the Tier 2 Team. I emailed Medical about my clearance status and they told me that everything is okay except for the MMPI. This was 03/30/21 that I emailed them and I took my MMPI in February. I would assume that Covid has delayed everything in that department, but heres to hoping things speed up a little now that vaccines are rolling out.

Just got notified about my Tier-2. its been about 2 months since I took my MMPI-2.

So I reached out to my medical poc for an update, and she said everything was good but I need to wait for the tier2 office scheduling to schedule me an appointment, and if I don’t hear anything to go ahead and reach out to them. So I reached out to them about a month later, and they said they have no visibility on my case. So is it just a waiting game from here?

No visibility on your case? What does that even mean?

has anyone from the tier 2 department contacted you letting you know that you’re in tier 2?

For me it states “Based on your screening MMPI-2, it has been determined a second level or “Tier 2” evaluation is required. Your case will be reviewed, a Tier 2 provider will be selected and contacted to confirm they can accept your case, and then the necessary paperwork will be generated.”

No one ever contacted me, I had to submit an extra form for something for my eyes. Then I submitted it to my medical poc and she said, okay and then I said well what’s the next step, and she said wait for someone to contact you from the tier-2 office. The subject had completely changed. And I said well is everything all good with eyes. She replied, yes it wouldn’t have gone tier-2 otherwise. Then I said well what’s the next step and that’s when she said to contact the tier-2 specialist if I don’t hear anything. I’m incredibly confused. I took the mmpi back in January.

I’ve been reading from page 1 on this thread and it’s an unfortunate reality but waiting is all we can do.
i would contact the tier 2 specialist if I were you and ask for a status on your case.

Haven’t been on as I haven’t had much to say.

I was notified of being DQd after tier 2 eval back in March or April. I notified I wanted to appeal.

Right now part of what was used for the deniaI I am contesting since it should have never been in my record. However, no one has been able to answer me on removing it or if they have a formal process. Logic says if it’s removed the tier 2 diagnosis doesn’t apply so I shouldn’t need to appeal. Though I’m sure I will still need to do another evaluation and appeal.

Either way I landed a job with a great company that I enjoy and has upwards mobility. Waiting on congress and the FAA to give me guidance. RDC hasn’t been able to answer me after I’ve been inquiring for like 6 weeks. Same answer is “I’ll ask” and then radio silence. Not his fault and I’m sure the pandemic isn’t helping.
Out of curiosity, what was on your record that DQd you?

So I emailed the 9 agl email about my status on the medical, they actually responded! I knew I was tier 2 already but I learned that there's 130 cases in front of me. Has anyone figured out or asked how many cases they go through a week? Trying to get a rough estimate here of how long it'll be.
I don't check this board often anymore so I just saw your post. I literally did the same thing (emailed 9agls) and was told there were about 70 applicants ahead of me. BUT, this was back in January or so timeframe. I've been Tier 2 for about a year or so already. RIP bro
