Do you get paid 8hrs every weekday from the time between onboarding and the start of basics?

Yeah and it stays that way until who knows when lol. I'm pretty sure even during and after you finish basics you'll get paid the same

They do unless you get some kind of save pay from another federal agency.

We were told tentatively 7/28 in our post-class debrief. Way more downtime than I was expecting.

Haven’t done basics yet but I know once you graduate basics there’s a lot of self study. Like 3 hours of zoom and 5 hours of self study

8 hours of zoom, lots of breaks throughout the day....some days felt longer than others but it wasn't too bad.

How long does it take to swear in? I know I have to stand in front of my camera when I swear in but like 1. Does everyone swear in separately or do we all do it at once? 2. Do I have to read off a paragraph stating that I swear in or is it only a sentence? 3. Why does it say that swearing in takes like 4 hours lol
