I know what they said. I meant from the FAA or DOT. If you don’t get an email overriding the other email it’s sketchy. If you look at other agencies they all got up to the date official guidance that they can point to in the future. We don’t have shit
 
Today was one of the most frustrating and stressful days of my 23 year career.

It's wild to me that as a CIC, I was literally seconds away from putting ZNY/ZDC into a hold so that I could assign people work to write an email. Thankfully, I get along with my OM and we were able to work through the chaos of conflicting messages without affecting the operation.

I have zero need to say more.

Ahhh I see. Well forgive my oversight and yeah, you guys are definitely in better hands on the DoD side as far as union representation. Probably goes without saying after today lmao.
 
Seems to me there's more to this than initially meets the eye.

Seems like there's a split at the cabinet level positions on elon/doge. With quite a few agencies being told to not respond, that tells me at least some people who have trumps ear know this is a bad way to go about things.

Seems to me like elon is going off half cocked on a lot of these doge measures and it's pissing people off, going from "if you don't do it it's effectively a resignation" to "it's just to see who responds" back to okay I'm gonna give you one more and you are getting shit canned this time for realizies I mean it guys".

These conflicting messages all make the president/his admin look disorganized and not serious (suprise suprise). When I'm getting emails from [email protected] about this and then OPM comes out and says no, actually this is voluntary, followed by the person behind [email protected] once again disagreeing with that.... not a good look for trump or elon.

Lastly I don't think anyone i know had a problem with providing 5 bullet points on what they did last week. It's the manner in which it's being done, why, and the utter lack on clarity of the purpose of it, if not as justification for trumped up discipline/conduct firings. No one is reading these (ALL 2 MILLION) it's being run thru an AI and some computer is going to decide who keeps thier job and who doesn't. The implications of that should concern everyone.

Really wish you had. Dumbass conman was in the media flaunting this “genius” clown show. Delaying a/c is the only language these fucking retards understand. Duffy had the authority to be the adult in the room and he chose to kiss the ring instead. Delays would’ve shed light on the consequences of non serious men being allowed to spaz nonsense into a serious NAS.
It also would’ve served to differentiate ATC from the mob of administrative government workers that everyone hates. Until we create that separation the conservative half of this country will attack our pay and benefits forever.

Rarely do I find myself agreeing with you.

Sure would be nice if we had some sort of organization that could help spread that good word.

Maybe after they find their footing and hire this new 12th PR person. 🤞
