What did you lazy fucks do last week?

Well we can’t have that.
ALL HEIL THE 2ND CONTRACT EXTENSION!
Our Union saved our ass against our will.
There. Carry on.
Losers.

Annnd you ruined it.

Gotta throw in that jab when all I'm talking about is the current messaging and current bullshit. Not something that liar did already.

Will you and Coffee go make love so we can hatch our future NATCA Prez

Seems to me there's more to this than initially meets the eye.

Seems like there's a split at the cabinet level positions on elon/doge. With quite a few agencies being told to not respond, that tells me at least some people who have trumps ear know this is a bad way to go about things.

Seems to me like elon is going off half cocked on a lot of these doge measures and it's pissing people off, going from "if you don't do it it's effectively a resignation" to "it's just to see who responds" back to okay I'm gonna give you one more and you are getting shit canned this time for realizies I mean it guys".

These conflicting messages all make the president/his admin look disorganized and not serious (suprise suprise). When I'm getting emails from [email protected] about this and then OPM comes out and says no, actually this is voluntary, followed by the person behind [email protected] once again disagreeing with that.... not a good look for trump or elon.

Lastly I don't think anyone i know had a problem with providing 5 bullet points on what they did last week. It's the manner in which it's being done, why, and the utter lack on clarity of the purpose of it, if not as justification for trumped up discipline/conduct firings. No one is reading these (ALL 2 MILLION) it's being run thru an AI and some computer is going to decide who keeps thier job and who doesn't. The implications of that should concern everyone.
Here are some additional points-

1-Who told you to respond? Frontline? OM? I only ask because now we have accepted that OPM can assign work to controllers...and I believe there was national guidance to NOT provide ot/credit to do it. (I know locally people were provided ot) This is a pretty big change...the precedent for your next email-why was your time on position only X hours and your fire extinguisher elms not done? So on and so forth. Also you must answer this email on your break

2-We are not contractually obligated to monitor our email...but if an unanswered email means termination (you know now that opm can assign me work) how many hours a day will I get to check my email? Is the government furnishing equipment for me to check my email on my day off?

3-As usual why is the union allowing a change in our working conditions (rest rules anyone?) Without being collaborated first. Why was our highly respected and powerful union not making decisions until people were getting ready to leave (and needing ot/credit) to answer these emails. Last possible second as usual.

4-Why have I not seen statement suggesting safety personal be exempt from efficiency policies. I know the tower I work at was pretty stressed after recent events and now the lack of leadership really hurts. Everyone is waiting for someone else to make a decision...where is our legal team? Where is our pr?

5-Why is social media being used for official government business on government time? Why are we not saying anything about it..https://x.com/SecDuffy/status/1894031690256818515

What’s the difference between a mandatory e-mail & a mandatory vaccination?
Well one is you protecting yourself and others from a deadly disease, with advice and guidance from experts in their field who knows more about what they're talkin about than you and a Facebook post and a half-assed Google search.

The other is a toddler appointed to a made up position of authority asking you to justify your job to a jank ass A.I.

So really apples to apples, right?

Well an email is a routine part of communicating ideas and generally a part of a daily routine in almost every job except ours.

A mandatory vaccination is a requirement in some jobs and schools.

What you are trying to communicate is maybe aren't these both a change in working conditions and I'm mad about the lack of leadership? I guess a ged is enough for this job.

PS the covid vaccine did not work

Well one is you protecting yourself and others from a deadly disease,
That's what it used to be but now it's anything creating an immune response regardless of the right winger opinions

Omg retards stop debating Covid. Focus. We all know who was right during COVID. Now focus on the current issue. We can all debate Covid at the bar when we are WORKING THERE

Hahahahaha you're really still trying this hard to justify the vaccine in 2025?

You're right, it's not apples to apples. Your experts were proven wrong after 4 years of lying and goalpost moving by the mainstream media. Sorry you put an untested substance rushed to market by big pharma into your body.

Hopkins, one of the top hospitals in the world says you're wrong. Anyone can find an "expert" on a podcast.

I’m not trying to shit on your parade but that article doesn’t address the efficacy of the COVID vaccine. It just addresses the delivery method progression of mRNA vaccines and how it was utilized for the COVID vaccine. I think many of us can easily agree that vaccines have been beneficial overall and saved lives. It’s troublesome to claim that the COVID vaccine was effective, safe and absolutely necessary.
