good luck!! if anyone has questions abt bpt, i just graduated the academy last month and started here a couple weeks ago :)

There's a reason for that... with a 54% success rate and 2.5 year training time for a 6 up/down, I'd steer clear.
I work there. Not a bad facility and location is improving. The entire facility is frustrated beyond belief with the training times. It's all due to one REALLY bad supervisor and a manager with his head in the sand waiting for 40 years. Plus, no union help from the outside. It could be much better.

Anyone know why they failed? Nerves or just didn't have their phraseology, airport map memorized, and/or didn't take it seriously?
Probably none of the above. If any of those it was likely nerves but there are so many variables and randomness with the evals and the way they are graded it sucks but a large portion of it is mainly a crapshoot and luck. The evals are not the hardest problems but hard enough that anyone no matter how well prepared can have one really bad run, paired with a evaluator who stacks and compounds the mistakes, and walk away with a 20 basically dooming them the rest of the way.

Without going into details, ^ this. I will say that the evaluators are very fair and will call it as they see it.

There’s some evaluators that wash out a lot too. Wether it’s because they’re are picky or they intimidate people it happens

Last two classes went 5/9 and 4/8, but the two before that went 9/9 and most of the classes recently have only lost 1 at most otherwise. Does no good to psych yourself out if you’re here at the academy, put your work in and things will be fine
