Honestly all the articles posted and all the bullshit posted before as I stated really doesn’t matter. At the end of the day we live in a “free” country and the government is taking our rights away from us end of story and it’s bullshit and I don’t see how anybody in their right mind cannot agree that this is wrong regardless of a vaccination status.
I agree, the government doesn't really have a place to tell you what to put in or take out of your body. I'm pro choice on all things body autonomy. They aren't mandating vaccines on you as a citizen though.

When "the government" is also your employer, it's a different story. You can very easily forfeit your job, right to work and such.

Aside from that, yes you have "freedoms" and "rights", however you have those because of the society you live in, and part of that is promoting the general welfare of said society, as spelled out in the constitution-

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity...."

So yes, while you have freedom, it's also your responsibility as a citizen to do things for the general good of the population. Dod you register for the draft? How would you feel about being sent to fight in a war you don't agree with? Still a part of the social contract. Jury duty? Part of the social contract. Etc etc etc.

Oh absolutely you’re completely right and that’s the country I want to live in. Unfortunately doing this job isn’t going to be a part of that freedom anymore even though we’ve been working all together the past year vaccinated and unvaccinated and not divided. Yes we clearly do work for the government but the government still represents the country as a whole And any person working for the government should expect to receive those freedoms and rights as an American citizen

So if I get a vaccine for a virus that has a 99% survival I’m being responsible. And if I don’t get a vaccine for a virus that has a 99% survival rate I am just a horrible terrible person who doesn’t deserve a job and doesn’t care about any of the people around me even though a lot of them are vaccinated against the virus that has a 99% survival rate. I mean if the unvaccinated have a 99% survival rate then I guess the vaccinated have 100% survival rate? So that means I should be out of a job. Okay then.

You keep saying it has a 99% survival rate, as if that doesn't mean that the death toll in the US is almost 700k
 
Its not about telling them verbally. Its about submitting a copy of my medical vaccine records to management and not a medical professional.

Well of course that’s exactly what they’re trying to do. No I’m actually not gonna feel dumb at all and I’m totally fine with quitting/getting fired. Like I said a job is a job and I guess I’ve never taken it to heart as many other people it’s not my life it’s not my end all be all there’s so much more to life than just this job and this jab ?
 
At the end of the day the decision should be ours and ours only not up to the government. If you don’t agree with that then what happened to living in free America.

As I said in the other thread, it's my God-given right to come in and shotgun a beer before plugging in to work planes, and any supe telling me I can't is violating my freedom as a red-blooded American. Three miles is a guideline, not a rule, and no employer of mine is ever going to tell me that I have to comply with medical requirements or a pre-employment background investigation in order to get this job!!!

I love your enthusiasm but none of that is nearly comparable to what is going on here.
 
I hope I get vaccinated, get an adverse reaction, lose my medical and get medically retired. No way in the past 18 months that I haven’t carried the virus. I haven’t even had a cough. My dad was the same. Got vaccinated and got COVId twice and the symptoms were way worse post vaccination for him.

God damn you’re reaching. The Supreme Court has held that the so called general welfare clause, being part of the preamble, has no legal bearing and invests no power to the government nor rights to the citizenry. It’s flowery words and nothing more.

They’ve also ruled that vaccine mandates by the government, let alone employers, are constitutional ?‍♂️
