Let's come back to the real world. Like Fightingirish2012 said, the next CBA negotiation isn't until 2026. And no, we won't go back to the table early, even if Biden wins. Biden isn't Obama. His administration wields no power. The Secretary of Transportation says he wants the FAA to use the CRWG numbers... FAA finance gave Pete the middle finger. You know the people who right now are telling us we don't work position long enough while at work, blame any error on lack of "operational oversight", won't actually try to fix operational problems, and find it easier to assign OT and 6 day working weeks than actually hire more people? Those are the same ones we would be negotiating "with" for a pay raise. They HATE us. There is no way we get a raise from these people.

The other route is via legislation. Rich has absolutely shit the bed in the legislative arena. Paid Paul a shit ton of money for access to Paul's contacts in DC. He has reportedly trashed all those contacts. FAA finance kicked his ass in getting the CRWG stuff in front of Congress, and released their staffing plan the day after NiW. He got absolutely out maneuvered. Not to mention he had to pay Steve Wiedner to stay on after retirement. NiW both years was a disorganized shit show with no clear direction.

Anyone can talk about getting us a raise. But, they better be able to explain HOW they will try to get it for us.

I’m 100% not a Mick apologist. But I get what they’re saying as lower levels are paid substantially less. All the 2152 bands need to be adjusted but I absolutely hate hearing from my friends recently checked out at a level 11/12 center how they can’t afford their life while I’m making half their base pay as CPC working more unregulated traffic and 6 day a week and 10 hour days.

Fuck that. Train your way out, the promise of more bodies, fuck all that, that’s the FAA’s job to staff us better. The airlines are putting pressure on the FAA to staff us better.

Don’t get me wrong, we need more staffing, but help isn’t coming. Not for ten years. No, the Calvary isn’t gonna be here to save us. What can make things better, TODAY, is MORE PAY

Been there, I get it. I bought a reasonably priced house, single car payment. My taxes have doubled, my home owners has gone up 30%. Inflation puts a strain on us at higher levels too. We work a level higher traffic here than we’re paid for because there’s no ABACUS hope in sight. We all need a bump to bring this career back up to the dream career it was when I started in the military in 2009

It’s our right to spend every single penny of our paycheck. It’s not about controller excess. We need to be paid what we deserve. The aviation industry as a whole, and all of organized labor, are getting HUGE WINS across the board

If someone wants to buy a Porsche 911, that’s his right. If you are a veteran controller, you should buy one and I’ll go further to say you deserve it too

I called natca National the other day and asked to speak to the highest ranking member of the leadership, stating I’d been a dues paying member for almost 15 yrs

I got an admin assistant who took my info down and no one has gotten back to me

I wanna talk to some of these guys. They need to hear about the Razewen movement. Your boy is a junkyard dawg who hasn’t eaten for a few days

almost all my correspondence with the RVPe have been company lines regurgitated back to me. The only exception is when inquiring about my rankings on NCEPT. They helped with that.
