From what I have heard, payroll has attempted to process this upcoming paycheck similar to a holiday weekend; so, allegedly, we should get paid for the 3rd before the shutdown begins (possibly DD on Friday or Saturday, possibly sent to financial institutions with a hold until Tuesday). If that is the case then the 17th will be the first "missed" paycheck if everything is still in shutdown status by then.

Checks are direct deposited to banks on Thursday they just hold the funds until Tuesday. I get paid Thursday night with sky one regularly and Friday at the latest. So this one should be fine since it goes out the 28th

Im calling out sick everyday of the furlough because not being paid is bad for my mental health and I don't think it would be appropriate to work live traffic while preoccupied worrying about how to pay the bills! If any of you work for free then your stupid and I feel sorry for you.
