2024 NATCA President Election

I'll disagree with this, 1 year is too much turn over for an established program detail, max 3 with eligibility for another detail after 3 years on the boards.
I don’t think there should be limits. I think there should be no full time details. If you want to volunteer and “step up” you should still have to do the actual job you got hired for if you want to earn good time. Keeps people grounded and prevents detachment.

How much money does Natca spend on the over produced recurrent training that everyone does while on their phone?

“oh your not in the union, no you can’t get food”

Mick can put out video after video. After this email, the NLRB stepped in.
“cuss, discuss, get on the bus.”

I heard this the last time a RVP visited when discussions got heated about topics that they either weren’t prepared to discuss or just didn’t have answers for. I couldn’t help but take this as a complete fuck you and your differing opinions to everyone participating in that discussion.

How dare you? You are wrong and a minority thinker. How dare you question what big daddy NATCA is doing behind closed doors with little to no communication to the membership? We can’t seem to understand why you don’t think we know best for you.

The sitting NATCA executive board has fought for zero benefits or pay related improvements with the most labor friendly administration. These guys surely have the controllers working the boards best interests in mind. Yeah, right. They offer no real solutions or offer to help, so it’s best to get on the bus and shut the fuck up. Or be run over and blacklisted by the representation money machine you pay for.

I’m begging to be proved wrong but all these campaign videos don’t outline a single plan or strategy on HOW they are going to do the things they are talking about regarding the only things a union should be fighting for, pay and benefits. I know it’s early in campaigning, but it seems like smoke and mirrors yet again.

This info should be available in last and next tax report filing. If you can figure out exactly who did what. Which may be harder than the filing listings provide.

I remember seeing a graphic designer that shared the last name as a sitting RVP getting paid 6 figures on the 2022 filing. They made something like 15-18 different graphics over the year. I was never able to determine a familial relation to the current RVP, so speculation, but if their family is getting paid off NATCA books it’s an extremely bad look. There’s gotta be better designers than your related family member.

There are dues paying members at low level shit holes making way less than this graphic designer who made 15-18 graphics, most likely in their free time. I’d bet they are not working 6 days a week. Probably just once every few weeks for a few hours and are still getting paid more than the low level schmucks.

I looked for some of these graphics when I saw this and found nothing. If I remember correctly they were for election matters and mailings. No idea where they are or where they went but I couldn’t find a single one. I’d like to see what 6 figures of graphic design in NATCA money looks like.

NATCA is less then forthcoming about spending. I reached out to our executive vice president, Andrew and was rebuffed.

Also, if you go to the NATCA site it is very difficult to find out anything specific about how NATCA spends our money. No obvious links and often what they put out is so general it’s worthless. We hide that 10k at Fuel Bar at CFS because NATCA’s alcohol policy lets it happen if you are at the NEB level.

For that you have to get the LM-2, which shout out to Mick Devine who when a fellow member asked about it, he didn’t even provide the link and basically ignored him.

That guy is a hack and he wants to be your new EVP and be in charge of the budget! I guess his wife will get two trips to Hawaii next year if he wins!

Hope the new RVP for New England can spare some official time for her. Too bad his mini-me Krampovitis isn’t going to get too many votes from A90, but everyone is hoping he shows up to campaign!

Also Never mind Mick’s other ARVP getting fired recently for throwing shade at Jamal. They left that out of the recent updates for some reason.

He used his position to get a member (another full time 114 scammer no less) to get the dirt for him. Great work posting the screen shot to Reddit with “JD’s initials”. But they didn’t remove him (the former ARVP) from his article 114 gig, they don’t eat their own. Too bad they went private during the NEB meeting and left it out of the minutes.

But check out that LM-2 and Marvel at all the money paid to former NATCA loyalists, like Rinaldi, Carr, and many others. Some years are even worse.

Fuck these guys. I’m running for president to end this shit. You want change, I’m your guy.

If not, well, 4 years till retirement for me and I can actually go in and do my job so it’s up to everyone else.

TLDR: The NEB is a bunch of shit

Ignorant take. Votes don’t even have names to them.

Buncha dipshits that don’t attend convention posting about convention processes
Stfu, the amendments have the name or names of the people proposing them in the guide that’s published and mailed to every member

Exactly. Why are we paying for any graphics.

Congress just passed an $886 Billion defense bill.

Quick reminder that it would cost $1 per domestic ticketed passenger to raise every controller's salary by $75,000 right now #¿raizwen?
Maybe it would have been smart to pull ATC out of the DOT and into DOD or Homeland Security? If we started that now it would take until we retire to see it play out, but it looks like their branches have unlimited budgets, maybe we would be better off there.

No names for votes. The accusation was that reps are held hostage on votes. It’s untrue and the misinformation is being posted by people pretending to know shit they don’t know.
